A few months ago, Dover Hall had the distinct honor of being chosen to host the World Pediatric Project’s Annual Gala, Treasures in Paradise, and was a part of helping the organization surpass their fundraising goal of over half a million dollars! 🌴🦜

“After nine years of Treasures being held in the same venue, WPP felt that it was time for a change. Their team was looking for something more intimate, and Dover Hall was the perfect fit. Dover Hall’s Nonprofit Partnership Program made the move to Dover Hall even more appealing. We welcomed 360 guests that evening, and the change in venue and style of the event, not to mention the fantastic seated dinner, left all the guests raving. I was thrilled to be a part of this newly designed event and look forward to the 2025 Treasures being at Dover Hall again,” said Tunstall. Another month, another incredible impact report from ! Dover Hall is proud to boast about diverting 8,165 pounds of food scraps and organic material from landfills year-to-date!

Our team is also excited to share that our honeybees produced their first harvest a few weeks ago. 🍯 🐝

"We felt it was critical to find additional sustainable solutions for reducing our environmental footprint," said Jeff Ottaviano, co-owner of Dover Hall. "Partnering with Nope Compost and Twin Hickory Honey allows us to return nutrients to the earth through composting and support bee populations that are so important for plant life and agriculture."

The culinary aspect is one of the most important parts of the puzzle for us. Nearly everything on our menu is made in-house, including our pastas, breads, pickles, sauces, and even our crackers, just to name a few. Oh, and did we mention, our Executive Chef was named Virginia's Chef of the Year?
