exclusive fixed-price dining experience curated by Chef Rick Sloan. This special dining opportunity is designed to complement the artistic atmosphere and ensure guests enjoy a curated meal in an intimate setting. The three-course menu features a choice of appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Wine, beer, mocktails, and cocktails are available for purchase at the event.

with curator Caroline Rocheleau and Court of Masters certified Sommelier Mitch Bowling. The presentation features a showcase of Samurai material culture and outstanding wines with inspired food pairings from Chef Rick Sloan.

“Seeing Red” in the Conservation Gallery at the North Carolina Museum of Art focuses on the history, symbolism, and materiality of red dyes and pigments in art.

At the event Art inside the Bottle: “Seeing Red” on Friday, January 24, guests enjoy a tour of the gallery with Director of Conservation Perry Hurt, then embark on a deep dive into red wine presented by wine educator and owner of Vitis House, Doreen Colondres.

This fascinating and cross-cultural evening of art and wine includes creative food pairings by Chef Rick of Catering Works and NCMA Café.
