Burying the Bourbon at BARN77!!!Courtney and Bradley burying a bottle of Luckenbach Road Bourbon for good luck and great weather on their wedding day!! Here’s to love, laughter and happily ever after!!

Burying the bourbon is a tradition that, if done correctly, is supposed to ward off rain the day of the wedding. Those who swear by this Southern myth state that the couple must visit their wedding venue exactly a month before the wedding date and bury a full bottle of bourbon upside down. After the wedding ceremony, the couple dig up the bottle to share with family and friends! Cheers!

BARN77 is borrowing a southern tradition to help insure wonderful weather when it’s time to walk down the isle on your wedding day. (A little bourbon sure couldn’t hurt with West Texas hot summers!!) Burying the bourbon is a tradition, if done correctly, is supposed to ward off bad weather the day of your wedding. The couple-to-be must visit their venue exactly one month before their wedding date and bury a full bottle of bourbon upside down. Yes, it must be full and upside down. Rain or shine, dig up your bourbon post-ceremony and share with your wedding party, friends and family!

What a day!! Red decided the grass was greener on the other side of the fence!!! We wrangled her for a bit, but she proved she really did have ‘mooves’ like Jagger. The ‘steaks’ were really high, so we called in the pros … finally, the cow came home!! I have a real beef with that ole girl…I am not ‘amoosed’!!!!
