Another amazing Piano Camp experience in the history books. It's always shocking how fast it goes and how much the kids learn in such a short time.
This year the kids created their own story boards to experience a bit of what cartooning is about.
As the finale for the week, today, each student shared their board and then performed an arrangment of each classical genre piece represented in the cartoons watched this week.

Valentine Elementary School Group 2 students created a folk song to honor Baby Morgan, 4 mo old baby who died in 1847 while crossing the Oregon Trail. Lyrics come from the headstone poem at Summit Meadows, Oregon: “SWEETLY RESTS OUR BABY DEAR ALL THE LABOR CEASES HERE FAR FROM HOME THOUGH LAID TO SLEEP LOVING HEARTS THY MEMORY KEEP."
