This came up as a FB memory on my personal feed the other day, and I had to share!

This picture was taken on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 after the successful completion of Bloktoberfest 2017. While I had volunteered at Bloktoberfest the two years prior, this was my first time participating in a planning capacity, and little did I know that this experience was going to blossom into my current career, planning all sorts of street festivals in Philly!

Started from the bottom, now I'm here. :)

I should be better about posting, but just wrapped my second with . Just shy of 27K steps. Rained a lot today, but didn't keep people away, and my vendors did well all things considered with the weather. I'm ready though for a shower, snuggles with my dog, bed and a salt bath float tomorrow at .

Shout out to my girl, Kae Anderson of Phant Productions for being my ride-or-die partner in event planning crime! The PFCU Kensington Derby & Arts Fest brought us together in late 2018, and we've been taking over Fishtown and Northern Liberties one event at a time ever since!

Meet Your Dynamic Derby Planning Duo! While the managing organizations may have shifted our planning leadership remains the same. This will be Ann's second derby and Kae's 8th so expect this year to be everything you know and love about the derby!

One of the best parts of planning festivals is working with an array of wonderful vendors. Another perk is that I get them to bring their products to me...talk about customer service lol!
