Unofficial finish times for all ULTRA distances can be found on the tracking site. Official finish times will be logged on Ultrasignup over the next 72hrs & we will announce here when each distance is posted. *We have to finish clearing course & get all the equipment back to the SLC area before we post official results.

Wendover Will is excited to see you all this weekend! Remember packet pickup & pre-race meeting is TOMORROW night. Also we have an ANNOUNCEMENT: When you see us at the starting line the salt may appear dry but after much debate & due to significant safety concerns starting after Mile 10 we have decided to use the alternate course. This changes nearly nothing other than Aid 1 & 2. We will be salt adjacent. More details will be shared tomorrow but you can also find all the info you need on our website.

Looking for something to do before the race? Or something for family to do waiting for you to run faster? Visit Historic Wendover Airfield. It is open M-F 10a-4p & Saturday 9a-5p. There is an admission fee but it supports keeping it open & well maintained.

Did you know that Historic Wendover Airfield is the most original remaining and authentically preserved WWII Army Air Base? Perhaps the most significant role of the base was as the test and training site for the atomic bomb and the 509th Composite Group under the command of Colonel Paul W Tibbets Jr. It was in fact Colonel Tibbets, flying his B-29, “Enola Gay” who dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima in August 1945!

With such a meek winter in Utah we are keeping our fingers crossed for an “official course” year on the salt. This makes for a slightly faster course with all the crazy views & mirages you’ve never imagined.

Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights as seen from race HQ (Grantsville UT) this last week. I’m glad I went outside to look but was also very tempted to drive out towards the course in the middle of the night to see what I could see from there. Next time. Still on my bucket list but this was quite amazing.
