But you don't have to sacrifice those beautiful wedding exit photos. These alternative wedding send-off ideas are just as pretty—but won't harm the planet!

Tip Tuesday! Reading through all of your vendors contracts and agreements can be quite overwhelming because of an abundance of information and legal terms you may not understand. Here are some important tips to think about when hiring your vendors and key points that should be included in your contract.

• You must secure a date, time, and venue before hiring all vendors. • Get everything discussed and agreed upon in writing.
What Goes Into It
• On every contract, include:
1. Dates and times of all services (including the time the vendor should arrive)
2. Date of the event
3. Names of all parties involved in the agreement
4. The deposit and final payment amounts (plus the payment schedule)
5. Contingency plans and substitutions (if white peonies aren't available, white garden roses will be used instead)
6. Detailed description of services
7. Some venues might also require an insurance clause for liability insurance
8. All parties involved should sign and date the document
* Note: When dealing with vendors that are providing a service on the day of the event itself, make sure the contract includes the name and number of the person you should call if anything goes wrong or gets delayed.
