My dad is my best friend and number one supporter. He is the reason I am a photographer and the reason I cry at every father daughter dance (it’s still a mystery how my photos don’t come out a complete disaster). He is the reason I gravitate so heavily towards these in-between moments that I personally know means the absolute world. He is the best father, dog dad/grandpa, adventurer, documentarian, and man I know, I love you🤍
So happy Father’s Day to the men that raise us, hold & cry with us, walk us down aisles, share a pre-wedding beer with us, who toast our lives & loves with us. The dog Dads and the Dads who aren’t blood. The Dads that love all the neighborhood kids as their own (looking at you #4). May you all feel loved and celebrated today.

I’ve written and rewritten dozens of drafts trying to explain the last year of my life. Trying to convey the hardships and chaos while still maintaining some privacy & sense of put-togetherness, but my words could never do this past year justice. In moments like these where our own words and experiences fall short; art & poetry become our divine connection to one another. I can’t wait to share the joys and my art from this past year and years to come with you all🤍

I’M BACK!! After setting a New Years resolution to give up Instagram for a month, it has now been almost EIGHT months! This space from social media has given me time to reflect on my business and my creativity - and has given me a LOT of time to recalibrate.

I have had a really unhealthy comparison relationship with social media for a while now. During COVID, I saw so many of my photography peers turning their boredom and free time into art, new projects, and beautiful work. Whereas I (like SO many people) reeaally struggled with my mental health and shut down in so many ways. I had lost some very special people this past year and went through a ROLLERCOASTER emotionally.

Time away from social media has given me a better idea of how I can use this platform to authentically show up as an artist and also a human. I want my posts to feel raw and real and really connect to my followers and couples!

2021 wedding season has been the best and busiest season for me and my business despite not seeing it on here. I have met and photographed so many AMAZING humans and gone on so many beautiful adventures that I can’t wait to share with you all. Here are some of my favorite moments from during my ✨sabbatical✨
