We had a great time at the 2nd Annual East Helena Smoke Show BBQ. Congrats to our friends from the North SmellaQue on the GC and LC BBQ on the RGC. We had 3 great calls with 3rd place Chicken, 4th place Brisket (thank you The Butcher Shoppe), and 10th place Pork. 13th in Ribs put us at 9th overall. Thanks Adam and the entire crew at Missouri River Brewing Co. for putting up with us and also thanks to Russ Radliff and Impact Montana for organizing the event.

We will have our full Menu including our Legendary Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Famous Mac and Cheese, Cheesy Hashbrown Potatoes, Memphis Cole-Slaw, and finally our warm Huckleberry/Peach Crisp with Vanilla Ice Cream. Today the Helena City Commission had lunch with the Public Works Department to thank them for their work on the Cross-Town Connector project.

The City of Helena leveraged American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to further strengthen our infrastructure and secure our community’s access to water.

💧 Cross-Town Connector Valve Replacement

“The City of Helena, Montana’s Cross-Town Connector Valve Replacement project is a water system improvement project that aims to replace and add valves to the city’s water transmission main. The main connects the city’s potable water distribution system to the Ten Mile Water Treatment Plant, finished water storage facilities, and the Missouri River Water Treatment Plant. The project will replace old and malfunctioning valves, as well as add isolation and air/vacuum release valves.”

Thank you to all our customers who made this year's Last Chance Stampede & Fair a great one. We sincerely enjoyed feeding a bunch of you. It was some long nights/days but the hard work pays off when we hear all the compliments. Pictured is just some of the hundreds and hundreds of pounds of fresh meat we prep every late night to fill the smokers for the next day.

We will begin serving at 4pm Wednesday the 24th till 11pm or sold out, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 11am till 11pm or sold out. We will have all our usual favorites plus limited Smoked Turkey Legs while they last and St Louis Style Pork Ribs Saturday afternoon.

Team 202 BBQ had a great time at Montana BBQ Cook-Off in Absarokee. Our seventh year there and it was fun as always. We got top 10's in Brisket (thanks The Butcher Shoppe) and Chicken. We even pulled out a 6th place "Anything Goes" thanks to Tiernee Caroline Bray and her Key Lime Pies. Congrats Bushmaster BBQ and American Heroes on the GC and RGC'S. Also congrats to the "King of the Brisket" Levi with his "tight" brisket.

Yes we travel and are set up well to do it. We spent the weekend on the Hi-Line in beautiful Chinook for a 350+ person wedding. Stopped in Great Falls on our way home to feed some of our close family at a graduation party. We have some openings in October, November, and December and are starting to book for next year.
