Keepin it real...flowers are a hefty investment for your wedding. They are beautiful and can completely revamp your ceremony and reception space. When we start planning the design of a clients venue, the first thing we discuss is what can we resuse in the reception space. It undoubtedly helps keep the budget in check and will keep the look cohesive.

We reused everything you see in this picture. The ceremony arch went behind the sweetheart table and the flowers used on the aisle went on reception tables. Check out our story and see how it turned out!

One of my favorite mantras is "everything happens as it should." I truly believe this, especially for things you really can't control, like the weather.

This was indeed the case for Matt & Keisha. The rain stalked us and toyed with our emotions hovering all day and decided right at ceremony time to make its appearance. Everything was already set for their outdoor ceremony, so the only thing to do was to break out the umbrellas and keep things short and sweet. No cocktail hour on the beautiful grounds. We moved it under the tent where the reception was set.

We rolled with the punches, as did Matt and Keisha. They never lost joy in their eyes. They excuded love and happiness throughout the day. And guess what? The sun showed up and showed out for them to get those beautiful vineyard pics before cocktail hour ended. It was beautiful and happened just as it was intended. Take a swipe and see!

Did the guests notice that Michael and Negin left to take these swoon worthy photos? I highly doubt it! Don't put any unnecessary pressure on yourself to get every single photo completed before the wedding or during cocktail hour. If you have to steal 20 minutes to yourselves to get some priceless shots, it's A OK!
How about these stunning Gulmohar blossom trees? They served as a lovely backdrop.

Love in color! We see a lot of soft neutral tones as a chosen color palette for clients. It makes complete sense to be drawn to soft whites, ivories, champagne, or a blush. Weddings look timeless, romantic and classic. But we do get excited when a client says bring on the color! Keisha and Matt wanted all the colors. They loved the look of wildflowers, so we ran with it. It honestly turned out beautifully.

Same but different! You can mix tables and centerpieces and still have a seamless cohesive look.
The flowers will look like they were plucked from the same garden and touches of your color palette remain on all tables. So if changing it up amongst your tables is more your fancy, absolutely do it.

Let's talk fabulous mocktails real quick! Yes, absolutely include them for your guests. Guests should not feel left out on the elegance and presentation of it all because they choose to be alcohol free. There are so many fantastic options that will make them feel inclusive and not limit non- drinking guests to sparkling water or coke.

It's an honor and privilege to plan lifetime events for clients.

Destination weddings and events are certainly a passion of mine. I believe with nature's backdrop doing its thing, you don't usually need much more. What I do love most about planning destination weddings for couples is designing that ultimate getaway weekend where they can celebrate an extended period of time with family and friends. It's the celebration that gets to keep going for a few days instead of a few hours.
