With a strong belief in unique flavors and a love for globally influenced fare, she brings a unique blend of flavor and technique to your palate. Originally from Boston MA, Eva has been cooking professionally in restaurants and as a personal chef. Eva started her career in the culinary industry in Florida before relocating to Charleston where she has worked in many celebrated Charleston restaurants such as Circa 1886, Wild Olive, Fig, and High Cotton. During this time Eva also began her personal chef services around the Charleston area. After years of training in the south Eva moved to San Diego, CA , where she worked as the Executive Chef at The Pearl, a stylish boutique hotel featuring only local and sustainable ingredients. Also during her time on the West coast she delved into the local grower scene and became a liaison for the farmers at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market and the restaurants in the San Diego area. Upon returning to Charleston in 2007 she became the Chef of Ted’s Butcherblock for four years and achieved a “Best of Charleston” award for her monthly craft beer pairings. Recently, Eva has been creating menus and consulting for some of Charleston’s hottest new bars and restaurants. Her latest project Warehouse, a chic downtown craft bar and foodie joint has been touted as one of the top new ventures to hit Charleston in 2013.
