I have been quiet on Facebook way too long! I don’t know about you, but there are times I need a break 😁. If you are new to following me I apologize. I am way more active on my Instagram account and I struggle to keep up with all the things and still be wife, mom, and grandma! If you are new to my page welcome! It has been a busy summer and I am gearing up for some beautiful weddings! What an honor to do the bouquets for Dylan and Cynthia's wedding. Cynthia wanted florals that brought a spring feeling to the earthy tones of the bridesmaids dresses and her boho inspiration. Their day could not have been more perfect! Congratulations to this sweet couple!

Rachel and Ben wanted their wedding and reception to take place on the beautiful grounds of their country home. As we planned for their special day they both said over and over that this was a day they wanted to be surrounded by family and friends, and they thought about those that would be attending in every decision that was made.
This day was a celebration of the love that just radiated from these two, which you can see from the pictures that Meredith captured! It was a joy to work with Rachel and Ben and be a part of this special day. The weather could not have been more perfect, and . the setting was amazing. They had designated areas for the wedding, cocktail hour, and reception. There is so much work that goes into planning a wedding day and when you decide to host it at your home the work load doubles! Allison helped them navigate the many decisions they had to make and helped lesson that load. The result was the most magical, perfect day they were hoping for!

I am definitely late on posting pictures of Dylan and Marissa's wedding. This one was so close to my heart because it was my baby getting married, the last of the Knobloch crew to tie the knot! There were so many emotions that went into this day......as there are for every family who sit back and watch that child take that next big step in life with the love of their life! It was seeing my three sons standing upfront together as Dylan said his vows, it was seeing my granddaughters who were so excited to be a part of this wedding, it was seeing the grandsons having so much fun out on the dance floor, it was thankfulness that Alisha's baby stayed in the womb a few days past her due date so that she could be at her brothers wedding, it was looking at my youngest and realizing that life really does go by so fast and feeling so thankful. So this post will be a little bit different than my normal posts. There will still be pretty flowers that I had the honor of doing for them, but there will be also pictures of the moments that were so special. There were so many pictures that it was hard to choose! How do you pick just a few? Looking back at these pictures gives me an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the ones I call family. We welcome Marissa into our hearts and family and are blessed to all do life together!

Kyle and Jaden's October wedding was so perfect. Jaden chose a mix of white florals and greenery to compliment the beautiful elegance of the day. The white florals completed the romantic feel in the ballroom at the Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette. It always amazes me how florals and candlelight can transform a room. I love to see pictures of the couple taking it all in for the first time. That magical moment when they sneak into the reception area and see all the planning complete! I love when it exceeds their expectations, which makes all the hard work worth it! I had a hard time choosing which pictures to use of this stunning couple! Just spent the last 3 days at Walker's Bluff Winery learning from some amazing instructors at the Illinois State Floral Association-ISFA Immersive Educational Floral Workshop. We learned methods of sustainable floristry, mechanics of design and were pushed outside of our creative box. Whenever I attend things like this I come home recharged, and am amazed at all the God given talent there is, and an appreciation for the work that goes into these designs!

Ian and McKinna's wedding day was a little different than the normal celebration. They graciously shared the spotlight of their reception to also celebrate her sister Jade and husband Phil, who were married earlier, but because of the pandemic were limited on numbers, and had to change the wedding that they had originally planned. There were so many couples during that time that made decisions to either wait or get married and alter their plans. When I met with McKinna she knew she wanted a pop of color in her florals, which I was totally on board for! They had collected some things for the reception, but gave me creative freedom to do what I wanted. We used most of the things they gave me and then added in some of my rentals for a refined bohemian look that fit McKinna perfectly!
It is not often that I get to be there for the room reveal, but on this day I had a front row seat and it is something that I will never forget. I love when the bride and groom can take a moment to take in all the details before they open the doors and let everyone in. Not everyone understands the hours of work that goes into a day like this. The meetings, planning, ordering, processing, designing, loading, unloading, set up, making sure all the details are perfect, then cleaning up, packing up, loading up and unloading when you get home, to the hours of clean up and wax removal to get things ready for the next event...whew! But, they did! They understood all that goes into making a day like this perfect and I don't think I have ever felt so loved and appreciated as I did on this day! In moments like that it makes all the hard work worth it, and is why I love what I do.
The focal point of the room was the wood trellis adorned with florals that anchored the head table. We wanted the head table to be special and this trellis was perfect! The florals with the hanging glass orbs and tealights made the space magical!
Before guests entered the ballroom they were greeted with a beautiful display of wedding dresses from the couples mothers and grandmothers. I Do Events did a great job putting these areas together that honored the legacy of love that Ian and McKinna came from. There was also an area that displayed the dresses from Phil and Jade's wedding, so that those who were not able to attend their wedding could get a glimpse of her beautiful dress and highlights of their special day
This day celebrating these two couples was filled with laughter and tears and couldn't of been more perfect! Congratulations Ian and McKinna and best wishes for many happy years together!

Katrina and Isaac were married at The Barn at Fairview Acres. It is always so much fun to flower for a wedding of a hometown girl! They had a beautiful sunny day and were married in the courtyard with a field of beans behind them. The white arbor was decorated with florals that complimented the bouquets the girls carried. We were not the only ones who loved the florals, because it was prime season for Japanese Beetles. By the time Leah and I finished the arbor outside, we and the florals were covered with beetles. I am sure if you look close you can see them enjoying the sweet smelling blooms! We did a second arbor inside, behind the head table, which made a pretty backdrop for all the reception photos. Katrina's bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses, so we added a little pop of blue delphinium to the white and blush bouquets. Katrina wanted a more traditional rounded bouquet and she looked simply stunning in her dress from Marien Mae Bridal Boutique & Events. This day was photographed by the talented brooke alaina photography. She does an amazing job of capturing all the joy throughout the day and always catches the best moments! Isaac and Marissa have been a couple for what seems like forever. I have know Marissa since she was a little girl, and watched her grow into the lovely woman that she is today! She has a beautiful, sweet disposition and it was a joy to be able to have a part in making her day special. Marissa and Isaac were married in their beautiful hometown Catholic Church and their reception was held at Marlene's Event Barn. There were so many great things about Kale and Janelle's wedding day! It was so fun getting to know this bride and her mom! Janelle's wedding and reception took place at Trailside Event Center and we put together a beautiful ladder installation with floral and candlelight that was a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony and head table. We used some amazing Cafe au Lait Dahlias from Ioerger Family Farms that were the focal of her florals. These pictures reflect the beauty, love and fun that were captured on Janelle's wedding day! Pictures give us the ability to relive each moment from getting ready, to walking down the aisle and celebrating with all those we love. Congratulations to this special couple! Amber was so fun to get to know through the process of planning her wedding florals. Her personality is infectious, and her smile can light up a room! Her photographer captured the joy that radiated from this day. Her wedding took place at The Barn at Fairview Acres. This venue is amazing and every detail is perfect. They love on their couples by pampering them with so many great features at not only their venue, but also the bridal suite and the silo converted to a grooms space! Lexi and Andrew had a beautiful June wedding at The Barn at Hornbaker Gardens. Their ceremony took place outdoors with their large live edge arbor as the backdrop. Lexi wanted each table to have a small cake as part of the centerpiece. I made little arrangements that could be easily lifted off to cut and eat the cake. We anchored the head table with tall centerpieces and beautiful candlelight. This venue is so beautiful and the grounds offer so many photo opportunities. Contratulations Lexi and Andrew!

Elizabeth and Ben

The Groter family is part of so many great memories through the years! Elizabeth and our daugher Alisha were friends from the beginning. I have pictures of them side by side in their car seats. Elizabeth spent a lot of time at our home through their school years. It was a joy to be able to do the flowers for Elizabeth as she married the love of her life! Ben and Elizabeth were married at the George Luthy Botanical Gardens in Peoria and their reception was held at the Peoria Zoo. Elizabeth chose all white bouquets to compliment the eucalyptus green dresses that the bridesmaids wore. As we are in the last days of fall it is so fun to look back at the lush colors of summer! Lauren and Ryan's September wedding took place at the beautiful The Barn at Hornbaker Gardens. Lauren was such a joy to work with and she had tears of emotion as I showed her the bridal bouquet, which is one of the best compliments a florist can get! We used some amazing dahlias grown from Ioeger Family Farms. It is such an honor to be a part of a brides wedding day and something that never gets old is seeing the appreciation from the family as all the planning comes together and the room is transformed. I love to receive the professional pictures from talented photographers who capture all the details from the day. It is like reliving the day all over again! In April we headed to Chicago for our niece Allison's wedding at the Bottom Lounge. It was a special day celebrating her and Adam with family and friends. The ceremony and reception were both held in the same room so we made use of the nice big outdoor deck during cocktail hour so we could flip the room and get everything ready to seat guests. Allison spent so many days in our home growing up and our kids share so many funny memories of all the escapades that they only later let us in on 🙂 There is something special about cousin time! The ceremony was intimate and personal, as Adam's dad was the officiant. It was a beautiful day surrounded by their closest friends and family. Congratulations Allison and Adam!

Brooke and Michael were married in Chicago at Salvage One. This day was so special and this venue so amazing! To know Brooke is to love Brooke! She is kind, caring, genuine, and always putting others before herself. I think my favorite memory from this day is seeing Brooke being photographed instead of the one photographing someone else's special moments. In true Brooke fashion, even though it was her wedding day, the day was centered around those who were there to celebrate them. Over and over they talked about the community of friends and family that made this day so important as they exchanged their vows with one another. As a guest, they made you feel loved, cherished and so happy you were there.
Brooke and Michael waited a long time for this day, choosing to postpone their wedding so they could have the people they loved surrounding them on this important day. Jenna was so fun to work with! She was detailed and organized! This family was so appreciative of all the effort that was put into this day, thanking us over and over! This day started with an early set up at their church, which was a beautiful setting for the ceremony. We then dashed over to the reception venue to finish set up there. We were back ready and waiting at the church to transfer the ceremony pieces and alter them to work for the focal pieces at the reception. Whew! It was a crazy day, but the end results were beautiful! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from this incredible day!

Nathaniel and Bailee's wedding was magical. I love this family and have been honored to do the florals for all three of their daughters. The wedding and reception took place on the family farm, which made it extra special. Bailee is a beauty and the natural bohemian style fit her perfectly. This New Year's Eve wedding so fun to be a part of! Jalee was an amazing bride to work with and doesn't she look stunning! She went from a bride that I didn't know, but was referred by one of my previous brides to finding out she lived in the same apartment complex at college as my niece. The longer we talked the more connections we discovered. Jalee wanted moody, rich colors for her florals with added plant leaves incorporated into her bouquets. Her venue was filled with candlelight that added the perfect setting for New Year's Eve!

Sophie's mom Tiffany invited me to stay for the wedding and be a part of the celebration. They made me feel so welcome! The wedding of Adam and Tori was a special one! Adam and our son Devon grew up together and have always been good friends. Tori is the youngest sister of Devon's wife Leah. Little did they know that someday they would not only be good friends, but would also be brother in laws!

I loved everything about the July wedding of Brennen and Taylor. Taylor and her mom were so fun to get to know and were so easy to work with! The beautiful steel blue dresses looked great against the bouquets that Taylor chose. Their reception was held at The Cannery, which is always a favorite! Our Story

I am a wife to Keith and blessed to be mom to three boys and one daughter. Over the last few years we have added two daughter in laws, one son in law, two amazing granddaughters and four grandsons to our crazy family!

I started working as a florist 17 years ago. Over the years my love for all things wedding grew. I am passionate about helping brides put that special touch through florals to make their wedding day beautiful. I love meeting with a bride and hearing about the vision for their day and helping them to take that vision and make it a reality.

I have always loved working out in my flower gardens and picking bouquets to bring into my home and share with others. I bring my love of gardening into the design of each wedding I do. My design style is a natural garden style. I love to bring in different colors and textures that compliment each other to give each bouquet a special touch. Each flower in a bouquet is created by God unique and different each having a beauty of its own. Just like a marriage of a couple that comes together each having a different and unique personality. Growing flowers need nurturing and care so they can blossom and come into the beauty that God intended so much like our marriages. I am so thankful for the opportunity to share my passion of floral arranging to make someone else’s day beautiful!
