So you want flat-lay shots of your wedding details? Often, when a photographer and videographer arrive, brides are in the stylist chair, finishing up their hair or makeup. Rather than interrupting your artist to go round up all the details from different bags, here’s a tip:

In advance, set aside a small box with anything you want captured-think jewelry, perfume, vow books, invitation suite, shoes, and even a special hanger for your dress if you have one! W
A few other ideas? Consider including keepsakes, family heirlooms, or something borrowed or blue-little touches that make your details unique to you.

* Bonus tip: Ask your florist for a few extra blooms or greenery to elevate the flat-lay.

Remember, these photos are only important to us if they’re important to you. We have some couples who don’t value these types of images and tell us not to bother. But if you’d like them included, we’ll need a little extra room in your timeline to bring the vision to life, since these photos take a bit of time to set up.

A first look can actually make it better! It gives you and your partner the chance to privately connect before the big event, which helps to ease nerves so you can relax and be more present during the ceremony.

Plus, it lets us capture those raw, emotional moments without the pressure of an audience. The magic of your wedding is in every moment — and a first look only adds to the beauty of it all. 💖

Jennifer and Chris love playing tennis, and since there was a tennis court on the grounds of , we were able to sneak away for a few shots. 🎾

Wedding days are filled with so many moments—both big and small. We’re obviously going to capture those perfectly posed shots and big moments- first kiss, first look, first dance.

But we also love documenting the raw, candid moments behind the scenes—the laughter, the quiet glances, and all the little things that make the day truly unforgettable. It’s these genuine moments that tell the full story. 📸

The first photo was taken when Sean and Rebecca first stepped out of the church, officially as husband and wife. The second was taken shortly after when they got into their limo bus to head to their reception. We hope they didn’t even notice when we got this shot.

Why should you consider a team of two videographers to capture your wedding day in its full, breathtaking glory, instead of just one???

While a solo shooter may seem like a budget-friendly option, it can come with major limitations. Here are just a few:

There’s some moments during the wedding day when your wedding videographer really does need to be in two places at once. When you and your partner are both getting ready at the same time, it’s a bit of an inconvenience to run back and forth 🏃

On top of that, there are often smaller moments to be captured while the big moments are happening. Having one videographer at the front of the aisle to get any tearful reactions while the second videographer is getting you walk down the aisle — that’s just one example of why this is important.

With a skilled team behind the lens, you’ll get a fuller, richer story. Don’t settle for less when on a day when there are no do-overs 🎥✨

Sure, you’ll probably need a nap later that day, but you avoid the crowds when you’re there first thing in the morning, versus sunset time. In the morning the sun is rising over the buildings and the light is glorious! Plus you’ll likely have the place all to yourselves.

Writing a maid of honor or best man speech can feel a little scary, but it doesn’t have to be! Here’s a big tip to keep in mind when planning out what to say:

Keep it short and sweet! Wedding toasts don’t need to be long. Aim for 3-5 minutes max. Much longer and you could start to lower your guests’ attention.

Joseph’s brother crushed his best man’s speech. It was heartfelt and memorable, with a little humor sprinkled in...this is him telling everyone he still had quite a bit to say 🤣.

We met Tayler and Chris for the first time as they got ready at the Larchmont Shore Club in Larchmont, New York. We made our way to Saint Augustine’s Church in Larchmont, New York, where they exchanged their vows. All their closest friends and family then celebrated at the Larchmont Shore Club.
