Last Saturday we had the honor of putting together so many beautiful bouquets, they have to be shared! Each one, so different and perfect for each person (and their stunning dresses!).

We are missing a few here with early pick up and deliveries, but here are a few we were able to capture the morning of!

Celebrating straight down the aisle...and vineyard!

Amelia and Tim offered guests a glass of sparkle to cheers at the end of the ceremony and it was a hit amongst guests and the happy couple! Sparkle, flowers, and winery...a perfect combination for us!

We cannot stress enough the importance of talking with your photographer and ensuring they are scheduling time of photographing your soon-to-be, equally. We are not talking just a few photos squeezed into ten minutes of the day.

You need those images. You will cherish them for years to come. Your family will look back at those photos and want to remember just how beautiful the two of you were on your wedding day, all those years ago.

We love these images shared of Tim, who is one of the kindest and coolest guys on the planet. His excitement and joy radiate through these images that captured perfectly.

We always love reflecting on past weddings and viewing our "in curation" moments. Before all of the guests settle in with drinks and personal belongings and movement of the room, we love to snap just a few memories, if the moment allows.

Villa Bellezza is one of our most favorite places to design. The owners are warm and wonderful, the Event Coordinators onsite are nothing short of amazing. The grounds are phenomenal and the wine....we are forever fans! We love the opportunity to design here whenever possible and we are so gracious for the chance to sprinkle a bit of J&D into the aesthetic of such a magical place.

We loved this neutral palette we worked with for Amelia and Tim. Classic, fresh, and light. It was perfection!

One of the design aspects we always consider is venue size when working through the wedding design process with our clients. We are firm believers in working with height and depth to ensure that vast, beautiful spaces are complimented with design in scale.

Once this is determined our team goes to work ensuring the creation makes impact. These designs are created effortlessly by Deborah and she KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK every time we get to use height. Filling these arrangements, ensuring they are consistent in recipe but individually special is her expertise!

These lovelies for Maggie and Tom's wedding were perfect: filled with color and texture and measuring about four feet wide and two feet in height, atop our favorite modern brushed gold structures.

No trends, just refined, consistent design.

We recently shared this situation in our stories on Instagram and felt it was worth sharing on this platform.

We were recently made aware of a local floral company that utilized the custom design work we completed for a Johnny and Dottie client, in the same venue, using the same concept, and virtually same recipe as we created, specific for our clients.

We recognize and value the trust that our clients place within Johnny and Dottie. We made a pledge sixteen years ago when we started this journey that we would never duplicate or even allow the discuission with a client to navigate to copying another artist's work.

Copying is never okay.
Inspiration, but never replication.

Our wish is that others within this industry would hold those same values. Unfortunately this not the case in this situation.

When an artist's work is copied, and quite literally, it is a disservice not only to those clients that have invested in the work of a Designer; it undermines the integrity of the industry. For another business to feel it is appropriate is disappointing, violating, and places distrust amongst the creative community.

Clients deserve better.
Creatives deserve to have their work protected, honored, and supported.

We, as a well established and respected company, will continue to hold ourselves to the same pledge we made all those years ago. We will never in the rest of our years of business steer away from that pledge.

I hope this inspires clients to raise the bar of expectations,
for creatives to support one another in protecting their work, and for the artists to use this situation as a reminder to continue to fan the creative flame.
