With moving and a full time job, I have been going through it, and the socials have taken a little bit of a back seat. That said, I wanted to share about these two cuties who are getting married in a little over just 3 weeks - so we are celebrating them today! (while I work on their timeline and details 🙃)

I was talking to a sweet friend about this woman right here last night, and I figured I'd introduce her to you too since she's so very special to me.
Her name is Brittany, and we grew up across the street from one another. We met when we were 3 (though we argue about exactly when) and I try to call her every Wednesday to keep in touch because we're terrible about seeing each other in person.
I was her maid of honor in her wedding and helped her sweet mama (my adopted mom, of course) and Brittany plan the whole thing!
When I opened my business, my adopted mom shared my posts bragging about me following my dreams.
When covid shut me down, Brittany encouraged me to start again once I had brushed those shoulders off.
My POINT is...find your people and love your people. And this person right here - I love her very much. ❤
It's almost Friday!
When choosing your bar packages, think about what you and your guests will really enjoy. Full bars are a great option, but if you know half of your guest count will only order margaritas, perhaps instead consider offering some specialty cocktails along with beer and wine.
This will help not only make the bar service flow easier, it can also allow you to have more of what you WANT at your wedding and cost less as you're only paying for particular ingredients.

This shot is from last summer when we did a killer styled shoot there. The dress is actually the venue owner's wedding dress and it was so fun to make a splash. I was absolutely flattered to see it had been printed on a canvas and hanging in the office. To know I had a small part in that production was pretty cool!

It’s 11:30 am on your wedding day. Your girls are there, your mom is there, everyone is there. You are having the time of your life enjoying the morning while snacking on bagels and you just sat down to get your bridal hair and makeup done.
You aren’t scheduled for photos until 1:00 pm, but you realize you need your veil steamed. You need your dress hung for photos. You need your bridal party ready in dresses by the time your makeup is done so you can get some of those cute photos of the big dress reveal. You need…help.
That’s where I come in! Many of my clients prior to them being actual clients don’t know exactly what I do. It’s more than just finding great vendors or working closely with your photographer for a final timeline. It’s all of the little things.
It’s steaming the veil, it’s making sure you’re hydrated during the day, it’s grabbing you some cocktail hour snacks while you take your family photos, it’s cueing the DJ as you walk down the aisle, it’s making sure your vendors get their final payments because you’re too busy having fun.

The burned turkey, the forgotten tape for the wrapping paper, the crazy family...it all makes us human, and being human is universal.

5 days 'til Christmas!
I've been decking the halls....at my day job. Being an event director and serving my residents (I work at an independent retirement community) while also serving my wedding clients....while also trying to life in between has been a season of growth and well, lack of sleep for me. 😂
I am so ready to celebrate my last bride and groom of this year tomorrow, make it the best day ever, and work on enjoying these last few days of 2023 to focus, reflect, and plan for the next coming year.

I am getting so excited for the big holiday! Are you all doing anything extra special? I am looking forward to spending time with family and slowing down for a little bit during the end of the year...but first! A wedding!

There is a part of me that doubts my ability to bring together all of the details. To think of everything. To work on creating the most magical day for you. You know an imposter syndrome will get you every time!
Then I have days like Friday and realize that this is totally what I'm meant to do! I had a wedding this weekend that was every bit of incredible as you'd ever hope. Watching my couple's hard work come to life and be able to anticipate what is needed next while making their wedding day a perfect day is seriously the dream.
I have some incredible clients who are amazing humans and being able to help them RELAX and just focus on being in the moment with each other is so incredibly rewarding. I can't wait to do this for the rest of my life. ❤
Spent this past weekend puppy-sitting for a close friend of mine. Nothing better than some puppy love!
