We are hiring part time help for those interested in a fun little side gig 😉
You would be working weekends at comic, gaming, and anime conventions. Generally 1-2 weekends per month.
You’d be selling table top games, high-end dice, gaming accessories, and candy at our vendor booth. You will also be helping with set up and tear down.
Must be 18+ with a valid drivers license. You may also be required to drive company provided Uhaul box trucks and vans.
Most events are within a six hour drive of Lapeer, MI
Transportation is provided in most situations.
Hotel accommodations are provided.
You may be required to share a hotel room with another employee of the same gender and you will always have your own bed.
Compensation:
Pay ranges from $11-$15 per hour + sales bonuses.
Overtime pay starts after 40 hours.
All breaks are paid.
Pay is weekly via direct deposit only.
Scheduling: You will not be required to work every single event. Events are offered to you and you choose whether to accept based on your availability.
Once you accept a show offer, we do ask that you do not cancel for any reason other than sickness, death in family, or a legitimate emergency unless 2 weeks notice of cancellation is given.
You are required to work a minimum of 4 events per year to maintain employment.
Requirements:
1. 18+
2. Valid Michigan Drivers License
3. Basic knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons or other tabletop roleplaying systems
4. Willingness to travel
5. People skills
6. Basic Math skills
7. Must be able to safely and comfortably lift up to 50lbs.
8. Must be able to work up to 12 hour days when needed.
9. Willingness to learn about our products (board games, anime, video games, gemstones, etc…)
10. Basic Hygiene
11. Smartphone with internet access
12. Be a safe driver
13. Must be able to be paid via direct deposit

Hado PvP
eSports just got physical in the ultimate cosplay gaming experience.
Hado PvP is a 2-6 player dodge ball style game, but instead of throwing dodge balls you shoot Dragon Ball Z style energy blasts from your hand, and raise shields that look like they are straight out of the movie Tron.
There are no cables, no controllers, and no bulky headsets, instead each player is equipped with a light weight headset and a touch screen motion sensing wrist band which makes the game physically freeing, significantly easier to learn, and much more immersive.
It’s not VR, it’s AR...
Augmented Reality differs from Virtual Reality in that when a player puts on a head set, they can still see everyone and everything around them.
This is possible because the software layers the game over reality, similar to CGI.
By mapping digital elements into the real world, Hado allows players to use their actual surroundings (including their cosplay) as part of the game, providing for a more physical and realistic experience.
It's a social experience where instead of playing against opponents over the internet, participants compete against the people standing across from them on a massive and visually appealing 20x30 ft court, while bystanders are able to watch all the action on our 60” monitors.
