Reposted from .io Today we the people of California remove our consent to the neverending State of Emergency.
Our California Governor and the Mayors of Los Angeles and San Francisco have shown us the way home:
✔️Massive noncompliance. ✔️Righteous, civil disobedience.
✔️Behaving as the free men and women we are.
They have shown us that there is no justification for 700 days of a unilaterally upheld State of Emergency nor the mandates that have been executed with it.
They have shown us the way home.
And so today we welcome back the California Republic:
✔️We will no longer comply to unethical, antiscientific mandates.
✔️We will not live by lies and we will stand righteously disobedient to injustice and duplicitous rulers.
✔️We will behave as the free people we are and always have been.
Welcome home, California.
🇺🇸 Be free.

I am privileged to work part time at a church here in my hometown of Hemet, Ca. When my father was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2016, he and my mom moved to Hemet to be closer to my family so we could care for him. God gave him 20 extra months of life that he was able to attend our church and eventually come to the saving knowledge of Christ and be baptized. You see, in the end my dad's sickness actually saved his life. ⁠⁠

I don't do personal posts like this often, but as I reflect on the sacrifice made by Jesus, I know his Grace is sufficient for all of us.⁠⁠

Riding on shoulders, throwing them in the air... I've learned some tricks to get kids to forget for a moment that some strange guy with a camera won't get out of their face 😂 But really, just get outdoors and enjoy this time together as a family and I'll show up and capture some good times.

Happy Saturday!! This is a wedding I did last year for good friends of mine. Like many people, they had to change their plans and basically pull off a wedding in 3 weeks. But at the end of the day they were married and their closest family and friends were there to celebrate with them. That’s what’s important and that’s what they will always remember.

I really enjoyed doing this branding shoot in Jodi's home... which happens to be a cabin in the mountains and it had recently snowed outside! She was a little nervous about having photos taken of herself, but I that's why I try to plan a branding shoot in an environment familiar and comfortable to the client. From this smile you would never know how nervous she was!

This has been a week of posts full of people I know and love! I'm blessed to be a part of an incredible community - Friends who are like family and these are definitely those friends. They are married now, but this was a shot from their engagement session in Los Jilgueros Preserve. Snuggle up with the one you love and a smile is sure to follow.

One of my favorite beaches with some of my favorite people. The beach is always a good idea for photos. I proposed to my wife not too far from this spot and the mom in this photo actually helped capture that moment for us! A seriously sweet photo of dear friends and their adorable sons.

Pure joy. My job can be pretty easy sometimes when I get to capture these moments between two people who absolutely adore each other.
This couple happens to be former students of my wife's high school math class! Some may say getting married soon after graduating is crazy, but when both are committed to the God-created bond of marriage, they are already off to a great start and foundation to creating a life together. But also, when you know, you know, am I right? 😉
