Did you know that there is a whole new type of ring box?

Trends have made us more familiar with this velvet ring box we see a lot in professional wedding photos.

And of course, we all know the ring box that the jeweler provides with the brand often written on the top.

But there is a new, more nimble, opponent on the scene. Stay tuned this week to meet the stealthy cousin of these ring boxes who make carrying/concealing rings a breeze.

More thoughts:

01. It is going to be dark at 4:30 pm....

and dark is not great for photos. It is great for dancing and partying, though! This is an instance you might consider a first look so you can get all of your photos done earlier in the day to preserve light.

02. "YOU NEED A COAT. IT'S COLD OUT THERE"

Mom is right. If you plan to do pictures outside, make sure you have proper foot ware (or a change of shoes) and embrace those winter accessories!

03. Frozen flowers

Most flowers can freeze in under three minutes if the temperature is below freezing. So if you are taking your bouquet outside, know that it might be worse for the ware if it is too cold.
