Altered Elegance is owned and operated by Arnetta Courtney and Khadija Khalifa

Our goal is to customize your vision to a real life event. We focus on the details, working closely with the host to transform their vision.

Our purpose is to take the stress and planning from you to bring a lasting experience of fun and memorable moments.

Meet the Team

We come to with years of party and event planning experience. Over the years we have thrown numerous successful and exciting events from; vision board parties, networking parties, dance events and much more. We merged our skills and developed “Altered Elegance”. Our desire is to have fun and do it in style.

Ironically, we are both from Detroit, Michigan and met here in Phoenix, Arizona. Coming from a place where there is always something to do, we were missing that here in the desert. We are here to create events and have a good time doing so.

Arnetta holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration. It allows her to writes grant for nonprofit organizations and network with people who are in need. Throwing event is no different. She brings a wealth of knowledge in thinking outside the box and making it look good.

Khadija has worked in corporate America in customer service and training for over 20 years. As a trainer, she has groomed countless individuals in enhancing their skills and craft. Through this, she has personally developed a unique way to work and communicate with others and cater to their style.
