Merry Christmas from Catering by Carly! #charcuterie #christmas
A fun video the talented Kelly Harkins helped me create. Many thanks to Lowell Thompson and his beautiful vocal cords for the super cool whistling 👏😘😁😘👏
Happy new moon everyone! I’m off to make, yep you guessed it~~another charcuterie! 🥰
I’ve been here one month and I’ve learned SO much! I do a lot of ‘lives’ because traveling alone in a foreign country can be difficult and isolating, and it helps me feel connected, so thanks for replying~it helps! (Plus very funny things have happened 😜) I’ve eaten in castles, ancient villages, vineyards, on the edge of cliffs, and at Michelin restaurants! I’m having the time of my life and I’m really proud of myself for taking this cooking trek across Italy! VERY EXCITED to add so many new additions to my menus!
My first market (in Cinque Terre), about a month ago. Yes I’m squealing in the video 😂 Lots of cooking has happened since then, particularly in Tuscany, Bologna, and now back in Cinque Terre. Ironically, this same market I went to a month ago, I went to again today, because I love 5terre so much that I came back ❤️ I have another lesson in the morning, but tonight I stay in and make dinner for myself! A much needed therapeutic break. Yesterday was a LONG day of travel and late ferries/trains. THEY were late, not me 🤣 About 12 hours travel total. What I have to cook with tonight: vine~ripe tomatoes, fresh garlic, cubed pancetta, black linguine, zucchini, olives, lemon, fresh cream, focaccia and of course olive oil and salt… and fresh parmareggio ❤️ And a nice local white wine (they are fabulous!) Let’s see what I come up with!
