About Me
Hello everyone ! I am so excited to embark on this new journey ! Anyone who knows me well knows that I LOVE smelly things ! I'm the one who used to savor the aroma of the elementary school ditto sheets that were hot off the machine. LOL. I have often said if you could only keep one of your 5 senses, which would it be...mine would definitely be sense of smell.
For those of you who might not know me, I am 46 years old and a single mom of a very kind-hearted, talented 19 year old who is going off to college in the fall. Lacrosse is life for him, but he looks forward to earning a degree as well. One of the main reasons I have decided to join the Scentsy family is to supplement my income to support my son. I am a high school math teacher. I teach/have taught Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, College Algebra, Financial Applications, you name it ! I love working with children, it is definitely my passion. I have a rare kidney disease called Medullary Sponge Kidney (MSK) where I produce regular kidney stones. I have undergone two kidney autotransplants to allow the stones to pass easier. As a result, I am currently in transition from teaching to an early retirement.
My first experience with Scentsy was when I was tutoring a home-bound high school student who was selling Scentsy as a means to earn some money for his medical issues. I fell in love with so many of the scents and the scent warmers. I decorate for every holiday and Scentsy is an excellent place to purchase pieces for every holiday.
