wow, I haven’t posted since october. did I take a mindful social media break? no. did I blink and suddenly it was march? also no. I was just out here flirting with seasonal depression, teaching college art (and loving every second of it), defending my thesis (miracles happen—I’m graduating in may with my M.A.A., yayyyy), spending time with my favorite people, and making things with my hands instead of just my camera. turns out, I love both.

anyway, here’s a photo of me at my art show that was gracious enough to host my work. because if I’m gonna reemerge, it might as well be with proof that I, in fact, exist outside wedding season.

also I rarely step in front of the camera, but my bestie and the PR team made sure I didn’t completely vanish into the background of my own art show. forever grateful for the people who see me, hype me up, and somehow always catch the moments I’d be too in the moment to document. y’all made this season feel extra special.

turns out, having proof of our lives and the people in them matters more than we realize in the moment.

on the eve of their wedding, they chose a secluded section of woods of his family’s property to privately exchange vows. they had cleared this spot together, in a space they had collected so many memories on; its entrance surrounded by a field of sunflowers planted specifically for this purpose. her best friend came to help with champagne and a top notch playlist, and he brought his drone to capture everything from a birds eye view. they celebrated with friends and family the next day, but all of this was just for them *sighs in romance*
