Why join the NWVA?
After many months of deliberation, Glenn and I decided to pull out of most paid online advertising. Were we doing the right thing? Can that money be spent in other ways, maybe improving our curb appeal or buying new kitchen equipment? After all, were we really getting ANY bang for our bucks with the huge online wedding vendor advertisers? The obvious answer is no...
We met an amazing man through a friend who is completely dedicated to his profession, online marketing. He’s done amazing things with our company site so we decided to invest in a group site. That’s when the National Wedding Vendors Association came into being. We incorporated, got a federal ID number and opened a bank account. All set, now to offer it up to vendors. Over the past few months we have taken quite a few applications to join and are considering every one. You see, you can’t buy into this group. This web site will be for experienced, trusted and vetted vendors only. Applicants must provide 3 professional references along with company history when applying. Each state will have it’s own page containing vendor categories. Each category will only have up to 20 vendors. That’s right, I said only 20...not 3000 like you might find on the overpriced, under performing wedding vendor ad sites.
Being a nationwide site helps push the search engine optimization (SEO) and get us out in front of potential customers. It’s a win-win for all involved. Couples will find the best most experienced vendors in their area and members will prosper. With an incredibly low yearly rate ($15/mo or say the price of large pizza) why not give it a try? The members who join now will not owe another year’s dues until January 2020! We’re hoping to have the site rise quickly in the Google and other search engine ranks just like our company site did.
