It’s CSA Day!! Bouquets this week ooze “BACK TO SCHOOL BONFIRE” vibes… when everyone has been busy all summer and friends come together to enjoy music, fire, and each other’s company before school starts again; when friends get together one last time before heading off their separate ways to college or jobs; when the fire is hot but the evening air feels chilly and your hooded sweatshirt feels perfectly cozy.

This week is a FULL SHARE ONLY week; half share members, we will see you back next week. Pick ups available at Farm to Fist after 10am and Barlow Roots Market after 12pm.

A reminder that we will have bouquets and veggies available for purchase at our farm stand in Hammond this weekend- open today after 3pm and Saturday and Sunday after 10am!

Happy CSA Friday!! When the plants speak, I listen, and this week the field said, “Hello August!” Hot Biscuits amaranth, sunflowers, and Alpenglow zinnias give these bouquets a warm August vibe that makes you want to bask in the sun and eat some sweet corn ☀️.

It’s MASON JAR WEEK for our CSA members!! This is always one of my favorite CSA weeks every year- members receive a pre-arranged grab-n-go bouquet in a jar!

This is a great opportunity to share your bouquet with a friend or loved one if you’d like 😊.

There are a few different color varieties, so pick the bouquet that speaks to you! Full shares AND half shares all receive flowers this week.

Happy CSA Friday! This week’s blooms are a Brazilian Carnaval in the form of a bouquet- pops of color, ruffled cosmos, and fuzzy bursts of ageratum. Get on out there and dance!

Happy CSA day, flower friends!! We are kicking off the year with bouquets that pop with happiness!From the sunny sunflowers to the little button feverfew, the papery strawflower and the candy-colored yarrow- these ones are sure to bring a smile to your face 😊.

This is a FULL SHARE AND HALF SHARE week, so everyone gets some blooms! Bouquets at the Farm to Fist pick up location are available after 10am, and bouquets at the Barlow Roots Market pick up location are available after 12pm.

Just over here in my happy place, harvesting flowers, listening to and imagining the way they would absolutely roast my bluetooth speaker Croc accessory (best purchase I’ve ever made) 😆.

Grab some blooms on your way to celebrate with friends this holiday weekend- you can currently find our flowers at Barlow Roots Market in Hudson, and our farm stand will be open starting THIS FRIDAY at 3pm! We’ll have flowers, a few veggies, and other fun items!

Operation Plant Out 2024 was a fantastic success! Thank you to our AMAZING crew, who continues to crush it every single year (and thank you and for sharing your best of the best for the day)! We’ll continue to squirrel plants in the ground here and there, but the majority of our baby blooms-to-be are in the ground 😅. Now onto drip set-up, garden, mowing, weeding, etc etc, but first- LET’S GO WOLVES!

Relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated! Greg and I snuck away for a little warm retreat (thanks, Grandma and Grandpa!) last weekend. We filled our days with research, reading, planning, dreaming, rest, fresh seafood, beach walks, and mini golf (ask me about my hole-in-one sometime 😎). Seed starting is now in full swing and we’re ready to hit the ground running for our 2024 season!

Mark your calendars- our 2024 bouquet subscription CSA memberships will open up on our website ONE WEEK from today on Small Business Saturday!

We have weekly or biweekly options, and pick-up location options at our farm in Hammond or Barlow Roots Market in Hudson.

CSA memberships are great for holiday gifts, a “just because” gift to show someone that you care for them, or an act of self care because you love beautiful flowers!

We’ll also have 2024 photo calendars and photo notecard sets available on the website starting 11/25.

Well, here we are- saying goodbye to season number FIVE of flowers here on the farm! Our dreams and plans have changed and grown over the years (and so have we), but I have to say that we really, REALLY enjoyed this year ❤️.

We missed hosting weddings this year, and all of the joy and love they brought to the farm, but it was the right decision for our family for the time being and we are excited to bring them back in the next few years 😁.

THANK YOU to all of you- our friends, supporters, and patrons. You keep our passion strong and our motors chugging!

Stay tuned for updates on the 2024 season! Our CSA sales will open on our website on Small Business Saturday, November 25th. We will also have photo notecard sets and beautiful 2024 photo calendars available on the website at that time!

We will continue to operate our farm stand and bring flowers to in Hudson in 2024.

Our farm stand is open and it’s a beautiful day for a drive- two perfect reasons to come see us! We are open today after 4pm and Saturday/Sunday after 10am. We have: mixed bouquets, grab-n-go mason jar bouquets, cute lil gourds, and eggs.

Our Story

Farm to Fist is a two-part enterprise consisting of Farm to Fist Brewing and Farm to Fist Hops, Flowers, and Events. Farm to Fist Brewing is primarily operated by Greg Barlow, and Farm to Fist Hops, Flowers, and Events is primarily farmed and operated by Kaaren Barlow.

Our inspiration for the business arose out of a market demand for ingredients and products to be produced locally on a small scale. We want our Farm to Fist Brewing customers to see and experience where their beer was made, as well as the ingredients that went into it. We want to share the beauty of our land with our Hops, Flowers, and Events customers so that couples can host the wedding of their dreams using our flowers, walking trails, event tent, and beer!

Farm to Fist embodies the farm-to-table movement and is truly about the high quality goods and unique customer experience you receive here: bring your family for the day and enjoy a stroll through our orchard, sit on our taproom patio and overlook our hop yards as you sip a beer made with those very hops, or get married in a clear tent under the stars surrounded by farm-fresh flowers.
