I've sold out over $15k in mini sessions in under a week. Had you told me that was even possible when I first started photography I would have laughed. I began this journey as a side hustle/hobby and now I am working full time doing something I absolutely LOVE.
I have been asked a lot of questions from fellow photogs about how I do it. I have also been on the other side of the fence giving myself excuses like "Oh, I don't have the clientele...I don't have enough followers...other people are offering similar sessions". The reality of that is a bunch of BS. You control your own success.
I've been playing around with the idea of offering different photography guides for a while now. I always get in my own head thinking about who would want advice from me or worrying about sounding overly confident, but the reality is I have other photographers reach out consistently asking for advice on cameras, editing, asking to shadow, and ESPECIALLY asking for advice on how to boost sales.
