Pricing includes cakes iced and decorated with icing. The cost of the flowers, ribbon and other decorations including fondant are in addition to the cost of the cake. For silk flowers and ribbons, you can provide them, we can shop together, or you can let me know what you want and I will take care of it. If you want fresh flowers, please order them from your florist and put me in touch with them.
I will place the flowers on the cake if the florist leaves them at the reception site for me. (Keep in mind that some flowers are poisonous and should not be used on your cake.) Many brides prefer the traditional white cake with white frosting and filling. Other flavors are available such as chocolate, yellow, strawberry, spice, vanilla, lemon, or marble, and fillings such as mousse, jelly or fruit if you desire. If you have other flavors in mind, please let me know. I require a $60.00 deposit to hold a date for a wedding cake. This deposit will be deducted from the final cost of the cake, and is non refundable. I do a limited number of cakes and give my fullest attention to each order. The stand shown in the picture above can be rented for $5 plus a $30 refundable deposit. Other equipment can be purchased or rented and pricing will be determined based on your order. Delivery and setup is included in the cost of the cake up to a distance of 10 miles (from about 32nd Street and Cactus). $1 per mile will be charged for travel beyond that. The size of the cake you need is determined by the number of guests you will be serving. The number of servings are estimated and based on 1”x 2” slices. If you want to serve larger slices, you will need to allow more cake. A 2 layer cake is about 4” tall and a 3 layer cake is about 6” tall. If your budget is a factor, consider a smaller tiered cake for effect, and add sheet cake to feed more guests. I can make the same type of cake with the same icing and filling for a lower cost.
