“Have you worked at our venue?” might not carry the weight you think it does. A true event designer—not just a planner who makes mood boards, but a *designer*—thrives with a blank canvas and a new space. Hiring someone without prior experience at your venue isn’t a drawback; it could be the artistic edge that gives you a design unlike anything that space has ever seen.

Here’s a peek at our process of designing a multi-functional space for Kelli and Tony at a newer venue, Cassidy Station at Estes Farms. We would go through the same steps to create a floorpan that is accurate and has 3D capability no matter where we are!

There’s nothing like a winter wedding in Kansas City. The temperatures could be anywhere from 65 and sunny to -8. You could have ice, snow, or absolutely nothing!

Thankfully, the cold was the only thing Claire and Kyle‘s guests had to brave on their beautiful wedding day. Photos at , and dinner and dancing at the - quintessential KC and we absolutely love it!

Here’s my top 3 reasons why I think sunset photos 🌅 should be given the highest priority 🏆 on your wedding day:

1️⃣ You are fully relaxed because these are usually “bonus time“ and the ceremony and some of the formalities are typically out of the way by this time.

2️⃣ The light, duh. It’s the prettiest time of day so your confidence is going to be soaring and the romantic vibes are going to be flowing.

3️⃣ It’s a “forced break“ for just the two of you without full wedding party and or family. You get to just be with each other while a photographer happens to be around.

When we build out a timeline with a couple the first two things we talk about are ceremony time and sunset time. Daylight plays such an important factor, not just into photos, but the overall flow of the day and guest experience.

You all have been loving M&A’s design so, TWIST MY ARM! here’s a peek into the design process for them.

Each aspect (centerpiece concepts, place setting elements, linens and chairs, floral types and styles…etc.) is thoughtfully designed with their preferences and style in mind and then presented to them. Once a design is approved it eliminates countless decisions that a couple would need to make!

M&A were drawn to the warmth and rustic atmosphere of and loved the thought of vibrant tropical florals. We merged both with chic, grays and blacks for an elevated, but fun black tie affair.

When a wedding professional says “I love seeing it all come together” this is truly what that means.

I’ve been quietly working on so many projects recently:
crafting design presentations for our amazing couples’ weddings next year, sprinkling some secret Christmas magic, and diving into some chic developments for my own business.

Girly details are always really inspiring to me. I’ve always been a big girl’s girl and I have 3 sisters (+ 2 sister-in-laws now!) so it just feels like the *fun stuff* 💄💅🏻👛👜🎀💍

When I was studying fashion accessories were a way I could play up a certain aesthetic or add a touch of something contradictory to give a look a little edge. Now they’re the sentimental bonuses that make a girl in a dress a 🤍BRIDE🤍.

So many words to describe A and M’s vibrant summer wedding at . The tropical florals echoed the warm wood tones of and were a perfect pair to the crisp grey linens and black details. I hope their thoughtful attention to detail shines through in these images!

Hi fam 🤍 That’s probably not the cool thing to say anymore, huh?

Confession: I hate Instagram. As a business owner it feels like something I’m required to do, but don’t like. Which I turn makes me want to rebel and burn the whole thing down 🤣

It’s a rule that I’m supposed to show my face on here every 6-9 squares so here I am!! 😆😉❤️ I’m also going to share some of my favorite NON WEDDING moments from the past few weeks. It’s not my usual, but I’m doing what feels fun!
