Hi all!🥂 I am so happy to be here and officially introduce myself. I am Sequoia, the new owner and lead wedding planner of FLOURISH.

Many of you may recognize me from Hummingbird Estate. I have worked at Hummingbird since they opened in 2019 in many different rolls. And that is where this all started. I am at Hummingbird on Tuesdays pouring wine, come say hi!

At FLOURISH, our goal is to create timeless, memorable weddings and events for our clients, and that is the driving force behind this dream career of mine. I have been so lucky to work along side for the last five years and am so thankful for all I have learned and gained from her. She will forever be the inspiration behind what FLOURISH is and will continue to be.

Now a little about myself…

My husband and I married in 2022. We have been together since 2017. We are THRILLED to be expecting our first baby at the end of January.

I was born and raised here in Southern Oregon. I grew up in Rogue River and loved it.

I am one of 7 kids and pretty proud of it. My siblings/parents are some of my favorite people in the world. I truly can’t imagine a better way to grow up!

I throughly enjoy every season and am always ready for the next one. If I had to choose, summer and fall are my favorite. I enjoy coffee + wine, wakeboarding, camping, diy projects with my hubby, and anything involving spending time with friends + family.

I love weddings and all that comes with them. The anticipation, the planning, the tradition, and the uniqueness. Marriage is such a sacred commitment and I feel beyond lucky to play a part in creating the perfect day for every couple I work with.

Our team is in the thick of our 2024 wedding season and I am just feeling so thankful. I have had the opportunity to work with and meet some of the most incredible people in this industry and I look forward to meeting so many more. Cheers to my first year as owner. I can not wait for what’s to come!

As the FLOURISH team ramps up to full speed for the 2024 wedding season, I (Erica)will post for the last time on this account.

It’s time I hand over the reins. I have loved every minute I spent planning with my couples and enjoyed every day that I was blessed to build a career in the wedding industry. I consider myself the luckiest of ladies to have worked along side some of the most talented, creative and special people. Thank you, my friends and followers, for accepting me into your awesome club!

… and now, I’d like to officially introduce the gal who will take FLOURISH into the future…!

During one of our first meetings, we begin to talk about the wedding aesthetic and start planning how you want things to look and feel. We create a ‘vision board’ to work from and to use a guide. Goal is to create a cohesive look. It should all flow… from the welcome table, to the place settings, to the bar.

Elena and John came to us with a simple yet elegant vision. It turned out to be one of my favorite aesthetics to date.
