I’m headed to mexico for sunshine, clean air and my first weddings of 2025. This is the start of me cleaning the nut butter from my hair, kissing the full time mom gig goodbye (bittersweet) and jumping back into the world of professional photography. I’m super excited and can’t wait to start the New Year!

Meet Callaway and Leah, my nephew and soon to be niece in law. I photographed their engagement photos last fall. Picture these two, me, their mom and uncle Chris and cousin Alice following them around the warehouse district of Minneapolis and telling them to kiss. Awkward? They were really good sports.

Aaron & Kellie

I’ve been looking for the perfect words for this wedding post. Words that even come close to relaying how beautiful, intimate and love filled this wedding celebration was. The laughter, the handful of best friends. The location! Across the ocean where one can live on wine and cheese alone.. pesto and gf pasta on the days that you need just a little more.

Kellie is one of my closest friends. Kellie is also the most amazing and strong, no nonsense, laugh until food comes out your nose, then maybe cry a little, and then end it with a good old fashioned close your eyes and dance like no one’s watching kind of woman and I love her more than is probably appropriate. Aaron is the man that won her heart- and is the most perfect match on the planet earth for her. Together they are a force. A long simmered reduction of an already perfect recipe.

What I’m saying is that I love these two. And that this wedding will always bring a smile and give me little heart squeezes when I think of it. And that I’m so humbly honored to have been part of their wedding celebration, to be included as their close friends and loved so freely and deeply by them.

Here’s to Aaron and Kellie! May this world serve you all that it has to offer on a big fu***ng silver platter!
