Meet Callaway and Leah, my nephew and soon to be niece in law. I photographed their engagement photos last fall. Picture these two, me, their mom and uncle Chris and cousin Alice following them around the warehouse district of Minneapolis and telling them to kiss. Awkward? They were really good sports.

Aaron & Kellie

I’ve been looking for the perfect words for this wedding post. Words that even come close to relaying how beautiful, intimate and love filled this wedding celebration was. The laughter, the handful of best friends. The location! Across the ocean where one can live on wine and cheese alone.. pesto and gf pasta on the days that you need just a little more.

Kellie is one of my closest friends. Kellie is also the most amazing and strong, no nonsense, laugh until food comes out your nose, then maybe cry a little, and then end it with a good old fashioned close your eyes and dance like no one’s watching kind of woman and I love her more than is probably appropriate. Aaron is the man that won her heart- and is the most perfect match on the planet earth for her. Together they are a force. A long simmered reduction of an already perfect recipe.

What I’m saying is that I love these two. And that this wedding will always bring a smile and give me little heart squeezes when I think of it. And that I’m so humbly honored to have been part of their wedding celebration, to be included as their close friends and loved so freely and deeply by them.

Here’s to Aaron and Kellie! May this world serve you all that it has to offer on a big fu***ng silver platter!

Tracy & Nick finally married!

After a thirty two month engagement, these two were finally married on June 18. 2022 and the Millcreak Inn in Salt Lake City.

Covid threw a wrench in their wedding plans and by the time it was safe to gather for their celebration, time had only sweetened their love. Their ceremony was just that much deeper and heart felt. It was beautiful.

Times flying! We’re getting close, another 6 weeks which feels like a breath as well as a lifetime.

We’ve been chasing the sunshine around Utah and we’re so close to spring that I’m calling this first full winter spent in Utah in 18ish years a huge success. That said, my life in Yelapa is very much missed, both by myself and by Chris and definitely by two Chihuahuas that I know.

Here’s to enjoying naps and a peacefully quiet and mostly clean house while I still can :)

Here’s the latest from the Galli’s!

We’re pregnant!
We’re soon to be a family of 3 humans and 2 chihuahuas.

This has been TOTALLY unexpected and is our most awesome move yet!
We’re due in April and have been busy collecting burp clothes and test driving baby strollers- that’s the last sentence that I ever expected to come out of my mouth.

I’ve been quiet here on the inter-webs and will likely continue to be so for the time being.

To my photography clients: I’m on maternity leave but will be back in the game sometime around August-ish I expect. Also, we’re skipping our escape to Yelapa and staying in the States this winter season, it’ll be my first full winter spent in Utah in 17-some years… we’ll see how that works out :)

Stay tuned for the mother-load of adorable baby pictures! No, I won’t do that to you.. well, maybe I will.

Let me take this moment to introduce you to Mrs. and Mrs. Kelia & Jenn and their big- beautiful-happy family ♥️

These two were married last night in their backyard with their closest friends and family. The majority of their guests traveled to celebrate with them. It was intimate and special- and oh man was it a tear jerker.

I love leaving a wedding at the end of the night with tired feet and cheeks that hurt from smiling. I know that I’m picky with whom I agree to work with, but the feeling of love welling up in my throat while trying to keep my view finder dry of tears is what I imagined when I took the title of Wedding Photographer. My clients are first and foremost my people. And they are my friends. How much better can it get?

Congratulations you two! Cheers to growing old together and loving the S**t out of each other for all your days to come!

Yesterdays was the perfect wedding celebration! There were so many smiles and laughter and love. The food was Awesome! The DJ was Stellar! (my muscles are sore this morning) There was live streaming so that the people who couldn't make it to Slc could still be a part of the day. It couldn't of gone better!
A year postponed but totally worth the wait!

Meet Jenn and Kelia.
These two are tying the knot— get’n hitched— make’n it legal for for-ever and ever this October and I’m super excited for there wedding day.
They’re planning a intimate gathering with friends and family in the backyard of their home, which is right up my alley these days. One thing that I can credit the craziness and confusion of this past year for is getting couples to think outside of the traditional wedding planning box. They’re moving their celebrations outside, planning intimate gatherings, not worrying too much about those distant cousins that are no longer invited- all the things that so many of my favorite couples want anyways, but often give up on because of the pressures that come with planning a wedding.
So yeah for change, open air and green grass and hopefully good buy to stuffy event venues with yellow lighting and bad air conditioning.
