I guess I’m double-posting today because I just got these photos back from and they are too good not to share! Thank you for capturing the joy I feel with flowers, Dorothy. It’s such a gift!

I love all of my clients, but some weddings are just extra sweet. I’d been working with Teree and Andrew throughout the pandemic and postponements, and by the time of their wedding, we felt like old friends. Teree was so sweet, and I was bear hugged by the lovely when I arrived. The day was magical and full of perfectly curated details by . Lynnsey did an incredible job with these photos, as always!

On a separate note, my last wedding of the season is tomorrow, and then I’m leaving for two weeks to explore Scotland with my bestie, my mom, and my husband! I’m beyond excited to finally make this trip happen (after two postponements), to see my ancestral homeland, and to be disconnected after a busy and challenging season. I won’t be checking my email, so please be patient as a I take some time away!

The galleries are starting to roll in, and y’all, it’s really really cool to see evidence of my growth! After years of jury-rigging structures for installations that always caused a few moments of panic during set-up, Michael and I finally built this structure and it is a DREAM. Loving these detail shots by of Mandy and Marty’s much delayed but very beautiful day. If anyone out there wants to help me rig a pulley system for this bad boy, let me know ;)

Besides weddings, my favorite projects are shoots with other creatives. offers mini sessions and I always love creating versatile backdrops for her and her clients! Today I made a simple but movable backdrop on pillars; all the pieces can be changed for a variety of shots. My favorite palette in my favorite studio in seattle for a sweet Sunday win!

I am now utterly convinced that film is the best way to capture flowers! Malorie, you’re an artist, thank you so much for these images. Frances is by far one of my favorite clients to date; her inquiry said “Dr. Seuss meets Dutch still life” and her wedding proved to be one of the most playful, colorful designs to date! Frances kept a smile through the hiccups, rain, and staffing shortages, and I couldn’t have asked for a better client. Here’s to whimsy, and trust!

I will always advocate for high-impact pieces when you’re on a budget! I loved these specially-harvested stirax branches mixed with huckleberry foliage and roses; shortages everywhere this year have meant getting creative, and I’m so grateful to the for being so diligent and resourceful. Hug your local flower farmer, they are working harder than ever to meet demand!

Speaking of community care—the Center for Bike Repair in Little Saigon is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, 5/14. This shop is the definition of community and collaboration, and kind of the antithesis of capitalism, which I love. Cory focuses on making cycling accessible by having a space for people to learn to maintain their bike in a pay-what-you-can system. There are free apprenticeship programs and all the tools you could need, and Cory is raising funds for the shop’s first paid teacher position. If any of that sounds neat to you, or you need some bike tools or want to race in the city on Saturday, stop by! Loads of cool neighborhood prizes (so much good food), and the 3 race category winners will win giant bouquets from me too!

I feel like my heart hasn’t quite settled back into a natural rhythm since the leak, and I lost a few followers and invited others to unfollow me; I understand that this is a business account and some of you are here just for the flowers, but this business is my heart and soul, and I cannot separate myself from what I believe, and my money will always be where my mouth is. I believe that every person has the right to their own self-determination; to that end, with a $250 match by myself and a $250 match by .kleeburg, we raised nearly $1000 for abortion access last week. If there’s anything I’ve learned through the trials of the last two years, it’s that we are the only ones who will take care of each other, and I am honored and stunned to be part of this community. Y’all are the real deal. Bonus film of a special elopement last fall ❤️

The first 10 people to send me a receipt of their donation of $25 or more to either Planned Parenthood or the National Network of Abortion Funds will get an arrangement (Seattle) or something dried or pressed (out of Seattle). We cannot become the first generation of humans whose daughters have fewer rights than us.

THE JOY of matching flower crowns and marrying your best friend absolutely radiates off of these two! Driving the snowy pass to Leavenworth to flower for these two friends was the best way to start this year. Thank you for having me, Darlene and David!

Oh hi, it’s me! Your friendly neighborhood florist that’s been a little quiet here! My first project of the year was this beaut, commissioned by the illustrious to hang at the incredible ! It’s a new salon in Belltown; a collection of rad businesswomen bringing you the best salon experience you can imagine. Seriously, the talent and beauty oozing out of this place is incredible, and I’m honored to glam it up!

I have been rather absent here, as honestly my body and mind kind of collapsed after a grueling season. I am grateful for all of the work I did, and equally grateful for this time to recoup. Michael and I are working remotely on Mexico for the week, so I’ll still be available through email, and look forward to renewed energy for work and life when we get home. I hope y’all are finding some rest and rejuvenation, too ❤️

Some film I shot of a special styled shoot earlier this year. My wedding season is winding down, and I’m looking forward to quieter times to realign and reassess. So grateful for every person, client, and vendor that pulled through this year!

I am so excited to finally share this shoot, which is featured on Wedding Sparrow’s blog today! This shoot was the definition of whimsy, and helped me play with movement and light as a tribute to love of dance. Spring really lent itself to the task!

This last weekend was the biggest of the year for me; two locations across the state from each other, two amazing teams, two incredible couples, and very little sleep…all so worth it. So much learned. Thanking my stars for the dreams made real, even when it’s hard.

Building this giant installation for Carmen and Wyatt was a whole dream come true. Second only to the bridal bouquet, installations are my absolute favorite pieces to design; they truly change a space, add so much dimension and creativity to any celebration. If you are on a budget, I highly recommend allocating your funds for an installation! Your florist will thank you 💜

Yesterday I had the immense honor of both flowering for AND attending one of the sweetest, most thoughtful weddings I have ever been part of. Jess and Ricky planned this insanely beautiful, intentional celebration in just 8 days! It truly took the work and love of their whole community, and turned into a night we’ll all remember forever. Jess and Ricky, you are magic. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting us love you.

I HAVE NO WORDS! Remember that hike I took down to the beach a couple weekends ago with a brimming pack of flowers? It was for this incredibly special, moody pride elopement! I was soaked through by the end, but the weather cleared just in time for these two to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family. These photos capture so well the stunning and sweet love these two share. Happy pride, and happy elopement, Jess and Kendi! Photography:

A whirlwind of a wedding weekend in Leavenworth. Snow pack as tall as our car, three locations, one long day with the best team, and Michael and I are exhausted as we head home. Worth the views.
