A fun gathering where you’ll learn great Party Food ideas and complimentary Sips 🥂to enjoy. Not only will you learn to make these recipes, you’ll participate hands on and then enjoy them all! A party to prepare for your next party!🥳🥳

For this gathering the girls got creative with instructor MJ who encouraged their creativity with cupcake garnish - we are thinking these are awfully cute!!🎄
The girls had a great time and they learned cooking skills like chiffonade, blanching, roasting, knife skills and of course some cup cake decorating - sugared herbs and berries. 🍓🍓

For as long as I can remember I’ve been the one that wanted to add the color to parties. 🎄🍊

My kids will tell you that I was the Mom that sent tomatillo salsa or a bowl of grapes or clementines🍊🍇 to the school holiday party instead of a liter of coke or cookies - they will also tell you that while they worried it would be a weird add - the kids loved it and it was gobbled up!👩🏻‍🌾🤗🥳

Something fresh to offset the sweets is always welcome at parties. Our bodies crave balance and will naturally eat what it needs when we allow it.

So when you ask Wildflowers and fresh food to create a Charcuterie board or Private Chef Event or Cooking Class you’ll see beautiful vegetables and fruits incorporated. Herbs and edible flowers get weaved in for multi sensory layering because we are creatures of suggestion. When we smell herbs and see color, our digestive system automatically shifts into rest and digest. This is the opposite mode of fight or flight - and very important for balanced emotions and overall health!

So thank you for including us in your Holiday Parties and promoting a healthy culture because let’s face it, when you feel good - you do good. A smile comes more easily, a kindness, the energy to be helpful or more patient prevails.

Little delights, like a simple yet unexpected Indian spiced nut mix and some crunchy kombu celery.

A little something to wet the appetite but not fill up. The thoughtful touch that shows that extra bit of caring and that little taste that nods to the upcoming meal is going to be full of wonderful flavors.

Wildflowers and fresh food favorite little baker shared her talents this weekend with with our “Dip the Halls!” Cooking Class. 🎄🎄🎄

A delightful spread of vegan, gluten free, very veggie and very plant forward dips and spreads were taught and enjoyed by all! 🥕🥕🥕

Registrants enjoyed participating in a hands on cooking class with time to savor all they had made. They went home with the recipes and are ready for a delicious holiday season without the guilt. They’ll feel good and I bet you’ll see them doing good for others because that’s how it works folks! When you feel good you give good!

Pico de gallo
Lemony pea hummus
Red pepper and golden raisin dip
Dark chocolate dipped berries

This client requested an elevated Grazing Table styled Brunch for her jewelry show. She said a Bloody Mary Bar would be a nice add and that they particularly like pickled veggies. 🥕 Got it.

My mind went immediately to jewel tones for this event. đź‘‘

The jewel colored dips and spreads, jammy eggs with bright yellow yolks… this was definitely in my area of expertise and I had a blast creating it. Paired with .things.flowers the table was a jewel aesthetic that pleased for sure.

For those pickled veggies and Bloody Mary’s I brought in the best, a small batch sustainably minded pickler out of Brooklyn NY, for brilliantly pickled veggies, jewel toned beets, red cabbage, golden beets and carrots in hibiscus, ginger and allspice notes skewered and ready to pair with a jewel toned plate or the 🥂Bloody Mary.

The Bloody Mary mix was elevated for this experience too, a blend of pickled tomatoes and chilis puréed and processed into a mixture with fresh horseradish and other assorted ingredients had this group toasting big time!
I picked up the farm grown veggies at and Lilli of pickled them and created the Bloody Mary mix. Bravo Lilli, what a great add this was for our client!

Collaborations and coming together for the clients best outcome is always our goal and this client was enormously pleased with everyone efforts!

What a fabulous morning with for a private showing for their beloved clients. The Brent Neale incredible “potted” collection stunned and combined with .things.flowers was sensational and it was an absolute treat to nestle my food in! I gave my nod to jewelry with a gem inspired beet, pea, feta and pepper dip array. Sweet and savory flatbreads, almond cake with cardamom cream and/or orange honey yogurt with homemade granola was there for the grazing. Sugared champagne soaked grapes were popular! Jammy eggs, shrimp salad and biscuits with honey and salted butter were arranged to be enjoyed and an English Welsh rarebit was served with beautiful sourdough and grilled conecuh as a heartier bite.

Everyone enjoyed toasting glasses with a 🌿Rosemary grapefruit mocktail and an awe inspiring Bloody Mary bar by ! Her pickled vegetables were a tremendous add to the table… flavors of hibiscus, ginger, star anise and curry delighted the guests. The vegetables: cartots, cauliflower, red and gold beets and red cabbage came from in Mentone.
