Our Story...
Plantrex, an interior landscaping company in the Cleveland Metropolitan area acquired Hovan's Flowers, established 1969. The immediate goal was to expand both Hovan's and Plantrex using the expertise in the horticultural area along with 30 plus years in the floral industry. After successfully accomplishing the initial goal it was decided to focus and expand the floral part of the business by working directly with other small florists throughout the United States and Canada - avoiding the use of the "wire services" if at all possible.
Alan’s Flowers and Gifts delivers fresh flowers and gift baskets throughout the world. Orders can be placed online for delivery anywhere in the United States or Canada. Our lead designer has over 36 years of experience in the floral business. He has a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Design and has studied with one of the premiere designers out of Japan. His specialties include sympathy pieces, commercial floral, and everyday arrangements.
