My happy place is in my shop, surrounded by flowers, in the days leading up to the Wedding. I spend that time solely focused on one thing - designing flowers that will meet and exceed my Bride's expectations. You see by that time, I have spent countless hours collaborating, talking, laughing and texting - there is A LOT of texting - with them! So, when the time comes to start designing my thoughts

are on what she wants and dreams for her wedding day! "You can never have too many lists"... should give you an insight into my obsession for detail. This is true not just for flowers, but for all the little details that make a wedding special. I graduated from Auburn University with a B. in Horticulture. I used my degree for 7 years in Huntsville, designing landscapes. Now instead of designing yard layouts - I design wedding layouts! My experience in the landscape industry allows me to see the "big picture" and bring all the different elements together into one cohesive design. The other half of the team is my fabulous, husband, Jeffrey! He managed a screen printing business, for over 20 years. His ability to design and meet deadlines only adds to the expertise of our team. I really could not do it without him! He's the Yin to my Yang :) Aside from helping me, Jeffrey has his own business - SwimPrep, LLC - where he teaches babies to swim! Wedding in LaGrange, GA this past weekend. What an amazing town LaGrange is! I tried to talk the hubs into moving there all weekend 😆 not sure I made any progress, but I fell in love and I can’t wait to go back! Congratulations Catherine and Greg! We are so happy for you both!

I am so excited to be writing this! I have missed my people! I feel like I have been drinking water from a fire hose for the last 5 months. It’s been a crazy, exciting, exhausting few months - but I’m glad to be back! For those of you new here, I’m Rebecca Nichols, owner of Tea Olive Designs. I wear many hats, for my business and my husband’s business . We have spent the last several months opening his new swim facility in Prattville and it’s been amazing! I have also been working on some new things to expand TOD and incorporate some of the other things I love to do and create, but I’ll have more on that later! I just wanted to say, I’ve missed you all and I’m ready for the upcoming Fall wedding season! you’re up next! Let’s go get you married!! 💐

Anna and Lawson had the sweetest wedding day! Surrounded by love from a multitude of friends and family a like. I feel like a broken record when I say it’s an honor to be a part of such a special day, but I really mean it. The smile on Anna’s face says it all - I don’t think I will ever forget her walking into her reception reveal - we were all crying! lol! The months, days and hours poured into every detail - it was all worth it to see that smile on her face!
The details were plentiful, the flowers were in full bloom and the fun... oh the fun that was had! Congratulations Anna Williard McAllister and Lawson! We love you and pray for many happy years together!

Hutchinson-Duckworth Wedding | June 2024

One thing I love about planning weddings is when the bride is involved in the planning process! I really get a feel for who she is and what matters to her. I get to hear the story of how she and the groom met. Watching Catherine talk about Avery was the sweetest, she would beam whenever she talked about him.
Another thing I love about wedding planning is finally getting to meet the groom - sometimes on wedding day for the first time - I get to be behind the scenes for their first meal and before their first dance. Meeting Avery and seeing the way he was with Catherine, was precious! These pictures from their wedding day captured perfectly how in love they are! I feel so blessed to be a part of these special moments! Congratulations Catherine and Avery, prayers for many happy years together!

When you’ve planned weddings as long as I have you are bound to do a “sibling wedding” here or there…. But this was the first family where I’ve done all three of the siblings. 😭 Looking back at these pictures has me all in my feels! 🥹 I count each of them among my many blessings! 🥰
