For as long as I can remember I have always loved plants & flowers. S.

My happy place is in my shop, surrounded by flowers, in the days leading up to the Wedding. I spend that time solely focused on one thing - designing flowers that will meet and exceed my Bride's expectations. You see by that time, I have spent countless hours collaborating, talking, laughing and texting - there is A LOT of texting - with them! So, when the time comes to start designing my thoughts

are on what she wants and dreams for her wedding day! "You can never have too many lists"... should give you an insight into my obsession for detail. This is true not just for flowers, but for all the little details that make a wedding special. I graduated from Auburn University with a B. in Horticulture. I used my degree for 7 years in Huntsville, designing landscapes. Now instead of designing yard layouts - I design wedding layouts! My experience in the landscape industry allows me to see the "big picture" and bring all the different elements together into one cohesive design. The other half of the team is my fabulous, husband, Jeffrey! He managed a screen printing business, for over 20 years. His ability to design and meet deadlines only adds to the expertise of our team. I really could not do it without him! He's the Yin to my Yang :) Aside from helping me, Jeffrey has his own business - SwimPrep, LLC - where he teaches babies to swim! This wedding was one for the books! I loved being back in the bride’s hometown of Monroeville—such a charming place for such a beautiful celebration! Helen Ann & Hayden’s wedding was filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest moments.

Surrounded by so many friends and family, it was clear just how much these two—and their families—are loved. From the stunning details to the packed dance floor, every part of the day was pure magic!

We couldn’t be more thrilled for the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!

I am so excited to be writing this! I have missed my people! I feel like I have been drinking water from a fire hose for the last 5 months. It’s been a crazy, exciting, exhausting few months - but I’m glad to be back! For those of you new here, I’m Rebecca Nichols, owner of Tea Olive Designs. I wear many hats, for my business and my husband’s business . We have spent the last several months opening his new swim facility in Prattville and it’s been amazing! I have also been working on some new things to expand TOD and incorporate some of the other things I love to do and create, but I’ll have more on that later! I just wanted to say, I’ve missed you all and I’m ready for the upcoming Fall wedding season! you’re up next! Let’s go get you married!! 💐

When you’ve planned weddings as long as I have you are bound to do a “sibling wedding” here or there…. But this was the first family where I’ve done all three of the siblings. 😭 Looking back at these pictures has me all in my feels! 🥹 I count each of them among my many blessings! 🥰

We let the parents of the bride see the reception space first. They stayed in the room and were able to see the bride’s reaction… we all may or may not have cried! 🫣 These are the moments that make all the planning and work worth it! 💗💙

I always love the moment when everything is set and ready to go - and what I had been planning in my head for months has finally come to fruition and I get to see it! So much time and effort goes into planning someone’s perfect day and I try to pour my heart and soul into each event. It’s honestly so hard letting go when the wedding is over 😭

I will forever relive this incredible wedding! @kenbhut was the perfect client. She shared her inspiration pictures with the colors and style she wanted and literally let me run with the design! It was amazing! A designers/planners dream! My advice for any bride - hire people that you LOVE their work and then let your vendors do what they do best. Don’t micromanage them, it stifles all creativity. You love what they do for a reason - trust and let go! Thank you @alexanddylanphoto the video is amazing! Thanks for capturing that day so perfectly!

Yesterday’s wedding was incredible! A complete team effort with lots of vendors and helpers - and I’m thankful for them all! You guys all killed it! Congratulations @kensben and Wesley, love you guys!! 💗
