Saturday Oct 25th, the boys take over and every drop of sweat on that dance floor helps power real change. Boys of the Night benefits AIDS Service Foundation of Greater Kansas City, an organization providing care, housing, and hope for people living with HIV.

ASF KC raises money and distributes grants to frontline organizations like KC Care Health Center, SAVE Inc., and Hope Care Center. Their work ensures access to medication, medical care, housing, and mental health services—while fighting stigma through education and advocacy.

HIV isn’t over, and neither is the fight. Your night out helps fund life-saving care and dignity for our neighbors right here in Kansas City.

Friday Oct 24th at Sapphic Spell, we’re partying with purpose—raising awareness and funds for Our Spot KC, a local nonprofit creating safety, stability, and belonging for Kansas City’s q***r community.

Our Spot KC runs Lion House, one of the only LGBTQ+ transitional housing programs in the region. It provides affirming shelter, mental health care, job training, and case management for q***r and trans people facing homelessness or rejection.

They don’t just offer a bed—they offer a path forward. They train other organizations to serve q***r people with dignity, run outreach programs that meet people where they are, and build systems of care that change lives.

Ten percent of Friday’s sales at Q Kansas City will go directly to support their work. So when you step onto the dance floor, know that every beat, every drink, and every moment of joy helps someone find home.

Friday October 24th - Sapphic Spell
The sapphics take over, and the energy is nothing short of spellbinding. The Glitterati hit the stage every 30 minutes starting at 11 PM—an all-sapphic drag lineup, each number hotter than the last. The costume contest crowns the boldest, sexiest, most spell-casting look with $500 in gift cards and bottle service. Upstairs, the Lipstick Lounge glows red, dripping in sultry vibes and lips begging for a kiss. Every drink fuels the cause with 10% of sales supporting local q***r charity Our Spot KC.

Saturday unleashes the boys in all their sweaty, shirtless, glitter-soaked glory. Kora Kay commands the night, hyping the crowd and leading the costume contest where the sexiest, campiest, most jaw-dropping look takes home $500 in gift cards and bottle service. Upstairs, the Red Light Dungeon pulses with heat, a decadent den where fantasies come alive. Out back, the patio strips down to the essentials: a jockstrap party with heaters blasting, bodies pressed close, and inhibitions checked at the door. Halloween doesn’t get gayer than this, and 10% of sales support the AIDS Service Foundation.

For q***r folks, this truth runs deep. Our community has always been built on showing up for one another, even when it wasn’t easy. That’s how safe spaces were created, how movements grew, and how joy continues to thrive.

So maybe the question isn’t: Is inconvenience the price we pay for community?

Maybe it’s: Is inconvenience the gift we give to sustain it?
