Nothing better than seeing the joy on everyone’s faces. From the dance floor to the quiet moments in between, this is what it’s all about. Rock Island Bridge was filled with laughter, connection, and people fully being themselves. Nights like this remind us why we do it. Q***r joy is powerful, and y’all brought it.

Still not over this one. Rock Island Bridge might be the most iconic space we’ve ever taken over, with perfect weather, a stunning retrofit, two DJs, two dance floors, and a bridge full of q***r joy. All of it in support of Our Spot KC, raising over $4,300 for a local nonprofit creating access to housing, food, and clothing for q***r folks navigating hard times. Huge thank you to the Rock Island Bridge staff for welcoming us in and letting us turn it all the way up, to our DJs Jack Hammr and DJ CQuence for keeping both floors moving all night, to our performers Kora Kay and Miniti Varieties for stealing the show, and to the Q***r Bar Takeover team because this only happens because of you. This is what it looks like when community shows up for each other.
