Opportunity

Our goal when we started Willow Brook was to use it as an opportunity to give back as a family and as a community. Boy have we seen the love over the past two years… not only from weddings but from community. Y’all are an inspiration. We’d love the help of our wedding family as we help a couple families in need this holiday season.

Willow Brook has "adopted" two families in the local community that are very much in need of basic necessities of food and clothing. Christmas gifts would also be greatly appreciated. Below are the two families wish lists.
Please DM or email us if you’d like to either donate, food, clothing, money or a gift card of any kind. We will be out in the community doing picks ups of items for the families over the next couple weeks and would be happy to pick up any items and deliver them to the families.

Family #1

This family needs food including:
Meat, chicken, rice, cooking oil, fruits, vegetables, yogurt in bottles for lunch boxes, coffee, milk, eggs, beans, cereal, breakfast foods

Clothing needs:
2 year old boy wearing size 5T and a 13 year old girl wearing girls XL

Toys: trucks, stuffed animals, books for the boy and any clothing gift cards for the girl (Target, Walmart, etc)

Family #2

Children clothing sizes:
A. 14 year old Female 8th grade : Womens 5/6 or small, sneakers 6 womens
B. 12 yr old female 6th grade: Girls size 14, Sneakers size 3
C. 8 year old female 3rd grade: Girls 10 , girls 4 sneakers
D. 3.5 yr old boy. Wears 6 toddler, 12 toddlers sneakers (large 3.5 yr old)
E. 1.5 yr old girl. 3t clothes, 7 toddler sneakers

Toys:
A & B: Headphones, jewelry making kits

C: Doll- like the my generation dolls from Target , accessories

E: Baby doll, accessories

D. Cars and trucks(boy)

Happy birthday to my boss mama Betsy Madden! Not sure if I came up with that term but I’m going to take the credit. I get to witness this mama change the wedding venue game by giving the same selfless love that I got throughout my childhood. I think she's such an amazing venue owner because she's such an amazing mom. Every couple becomes part of our family. That's what sets Willow Brook apart. The little creative gifts she does for every couple, I got that through arts/crafts every day after school. How she listens to every brides worries and helps to solve their problems, I get that on a daily basis with any problem or fear I have. How she loves investing in helping choose vendors or give advice, I get that with every dream or wacky idea I have. The mother of all brides. God gave me the mama of all mamas. And if you think she makes the WB couples feel special... think of what it’s like to be her daughter. Let’s also not forget to mention, she pulls off a great 90’s fro (see third pic)
