Santa's heart skipped a beat yesterday. He glanced at a clock that displays the time, date, and temperature.
It read "12 24." Had he taken a very long nap?!
Imagine his relief when he realized it was 12:24 p.m. on JUNE 12. He was nowhere NEAR ready for the big flight!

What's this? America's team is playing Monday Night Football on a Saturday? Santa is thinking of the boy who asked for two NFL jerseys for Christmas. When Santa asked him, "Which teams?", he replied, "Anyone but the COWBOYS!" He obviously remembered that Santa and Mrs. Claus both like Dallas's NFL team. His little joke might just come back to haunt him. lol

Wow! What a long nap! A HUGE thank you to all of you who helped Santa to stay on schedule on his big night. The snacks and drinks were certainly appreciated, as was the reindeer food. Even with the nap, Santa is still exhausted. At the same time, visiting with more than 10,000 children of all ages during November and December was wonderfully rewarding. Thank you all, so much!

‘Tis the Season

Every year, Santa works hard to spread Christmas cheer. He is the embodiment of all your wonderful memories of Christmases past.

Parents take their children to see Santa, often in an effort to recapture some of the wonder and magic of their own childhood. Some even arrange to have Santa drop in to their home to visit with the family and pass out small gifts.

Santa gleans material from Christmas carols, books, movies, televison and pop culture to spin yarns intended to entertain children and adults alike. By drawing from so many sources, Santa is able to appeal to a very large audience, and make those stories real and believable. Even the most cynical are left slightly bemused.

Grandfatherly, gentle and kind, Santa is very much what people have come to expect from popular literature and cinema. His appearance is very much that of the “Coca-Cola Santa” or Tim Allen’s interpretation in “The Santa Clause,” but toned down to avoid frightening young children.
