Hi all, I've had such a busy week, I hadn't found time to post last weekend's event pictures. We excitingly designed a very rustic wedding at this venue, HOPE EVENTS in Pawtucket. It's a very beautiful, almost magical place to host a wedding! Here are a few pictures. We have one more event, a 15th birthday party next weekend and then I am looking forward to hosting my Christmas eve buffet for my family. I will post again soon!

Hi everyone, I am in the stages of recovering from my right knee replacement, (still have the left to do) and was so excited to be back decorating events that bring such joy to so many. This event was a 60th birthday party for a family I enjoy spending time with. His love for beer was the inspiration! I have two more to design next weekend, and it feels great to be able to share my passion! I am back in my happy place!

My present situation. Had knee replacement on Monday. Recovery is rough, but I'm determined to get back to designing events!! I already miss it and am getting bored!!!

Happy first of August all! Summer is going by so quickly. Here are a few pictures of a Winnie The Pooh baby shower we designed this past weekend for a family welcoming a soon to be born baby girl. We are now fully booked for the month of August with events to design every weekend! Busy month, but I'm so excited. I have learned throughout this process of owning and maintaining a small business, that sometimes you have to readjust your schedule in order to also be present with life's responsibilities. We had a family member pass last week and the service happens to fall on the same day as a Baby shower I was hired to design. I didn't panic however, I just went to the hall manager and asked to be allowed in a day early to do the decorating. If you know me, you know I am committed to keeping my word to my clients that I will get the job done and also keep my commitment to my family. So, busy day tonight and tomorrow, but thanking God I am able to do it all!!! I will post pictures of the Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower at the end of the weekend. Stay cool, going be a hot one today!

The bride to be requested "lots of bling", and I think I did just that. She and her guests loved it and had a great time! Here are a few pictures. TGIF everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that I will be unavailable from Sunday, June 4th- through Sunday, June 11. Happy Monday all! Hope you had a great weekend! Kreations By Kathi enjoyed designing a girlie, flowery, Peter Rabbit themed babyshower on Sunday. Oh what fun this theme was. I incorporated so many girlie bunnies and flowers. My inspiration was for it to appear to be a flowery garden for the bunnies' delight. Everyone loved it! I had designed her babyshower 4 years ago when she had her son, but this one is for a baby girl!! Hi everyone, Hope you all are having a great weekend!! We had a busy, but fun day yesterday. We designed a 5th birthday party for a little girl and boy both turning 5! TThey are cousins born a few days apart and we had designed both their babyshowers!! The special girl chose unicorn for her theme, while her cousin chose Toystory. I literally split the design in half giving them both their dream birthday parties. Here are a few pics, let me know your thoughts!

Hi All, Hope everyone is enjoying this weekend!! Mondays come too quick! Kreations By Kathi designed a very sparkly, masquerade themed birthday party for a women and her family that I have known practically my whole life! The party had 160 guests, 16 tables/160 chairs! Lots of work, but It was so much fun to bring so many smiles! Here are a few pictures. It appears this is going to be another banner year for us, as our calendar is filling quickly. Happy Superbowl Day everyone! I'm happy to be focusing on my family today,. I'm creating a Mexican fiesta Superbowl night. I'm in my happy place, I get to design a table and spend the evening with them surrounded by love laughter and a reminder to them how important they are to Richard and I. Hi again! Here are the pictures of the second of the two events we designed on Saturday! This one was a Mario brothers/Luigi's Mansion (from the video game) themed Baby Shower. The parents chose this theme to reflect their love of video gaming!! I had to not only do the research for this theme, but pull out my creativity to get it as they envisioned it! I think I nailed it!
