How to Respond to a Rejection Email... We don't win them all over...and that's okay! But what do you do when you get the NO? 👇👇👇 👂Listen to their why! Before you get upset about the rejection and respond terribly, read their why and hey...it's completely okay to ask them why they went a different direction (especially if they didn't give an answer) 😊 Stay kind in your response. No need to say "good luck" or "we wish you the best" because those responses come across (in written form) as sarcastic. Thank them for letting you know and move on with your business. ✉️ Don't discard them yet! Make sure they are on your email list for your marketing. You never know if they will have a change of heart or something happen where they want to reach back out. Stay on their mind. 🧠 In your response, ask them to keep you in mind for future work...be polite! If this has happened to you (it has me!!) Do the Business Math BEFORE you create a #blackfridaysales or discount. Make sure it's not going to impact your bottom line at the end of the year! ✔️ Sales can drive business after the sale ends. ✔️ Could be a way to discount seasonal items or items you want gone. Think of a way to give a discount or a freebie without you loosing money. Maybe extra edited photos to a wedding gallery, a complimentary toss bouquet, discounted or free makeup trial if they book you...you get the idea.
