I still have some spots over the summer available. Send me a text or dm for pricing. The cost of everything else has gone up, but I have not raised my prices in the last 3 years. It's not easy, but photos are important, and I don't want my families to miss out. I have spots in Iowa open this summer, and will look at photographing in Idaho in September/October again.

If you are looking for a photo session that is creative, unique or captures you and your people beautifully and as you are, I just might be your gal. Everyone tells me they love the candids that I take, but in truth, they are mostly still directed. During your session, you can expect to interact with your family naturally, and receive direction to help capture your family's most memorable moments. What we do is capture images that are timeless and tailored to you. I will talk with you to understand the style you are looking for, but most of my clients just let me do my "magic." Each session really is tailored to each client.

There are no words...

Not true, there are just so many, I am not sure where to begin. I am forever grateful for the years Shannon and her family invited me to photograph them. Bode was always so sweet and ready to be photographed. Bode was also the name of my favorite teddy bear growing up, and I liked that I got to share that with him every single time I took his photograph. Shannon, Tim, and all of the family, I am holding space for you, and love you all so much.

The coolest thing about photographing this wedding is that I know the families. Over the last 5 years, I have learned what it means to be a Franklin; steadfast, loyal, tender hearted and fun. I couldn't be happier to see my sister-in-law, Jenna, find these same qualities in her life partner, Spencer (and his family).

Look, people always ask me photography questions. Sometimes it's just small talk, but so often people tell me about a photo that they didn't take because they thought that it wasn't worthy. Okay, so maybe your day job is not to be a professional photographer (yet....) but take the photo! Take it with a cellphone, a cheap dslr... whatever. who cares if it's blurry, not the perfect lighting...if you see beauty in a moment... go for it. TAKE THE PICTURE. Post it, print it, and relive it.

On a side note, some of you put your cameras or phones down and experience some of the moments. Snap a quick photo (with imperfections) and get back to the experience!

Friday at 10am, I will be opening up bookings for Senior 2024 pictures! I will only be taking 6 Idaho clients (shoot dates for Idaho will be for the weekend before school starts back up in 2023) and only have 9 more Iowa spots open (June-October booking dates available)! Each client is different, so please call to discuss rates. I also have 2 scholarship spots open for teens who would otherwise not have senior portraits. Ugh. I have been in business for over 10 years, and I have my business registered in the State of Idaho. When I looked up the info for Iowa, it doesn't require me to do anything else. However, Google will not transfer my address, and now for the last year does not recognize my business as legit. (My Google listing is suspended.) I have worked only a quarter of what I used to...which I get it, I have to re-establish myself...but my goodness, at least with Yellow Pages, I could have paid for my listing. Google that everyone uses is blocking my business currently.

That said, I am still working in both Iowa and Idaho. Google really doesn't know everything...
