When trying to decide what to have available for your open bar, it can get overwhelming.

I always like to use this basic guide when working with my couples.

It can be tweeked and adjusted depending on your crowd, but it is a great starter to insure that you have enough.

Had the pleasure of bartending a wedding tonight at the Lewis Family Farms with my second, Zach Manuel. What a beautiful venue and such wonderful people! If you are looking for a great rustic venue check them out. The owners were eager to be helpful in anyway possible. They definitely cared that everything turned out perfect for the bride and groom.

I had the pleasure of bartending a beautiful wedding tonight at the Stables at Connoquenessing. They have an awesome bar and lounge area for cocktail hour! I definitely recommend the venue to any bride and groom to check out!

Wedding Tip Alert:

If you've noticed my cover photo, it is from my very own wedding. A little tip to save a few extra bucks when planning your special day. I got all of my guests their own handled mason jar glass.(which I ordered from a whole sale site at a really discounted rate!) I ordered chalkboard labels and put each guests name. I then got little tags to put around the rim, (if you are doing assigned table seating) I put their table numbers on those tags. It doubled as a place card AND wedding favor. My guests, to this day 3 years later STILL have their glass and tell me how much they use it!

They got to use the same glass all night long and I saved money and the worrying of plastic cups and/or glass rental which can get very pricey!

P.s. for the kids I went to the dollar tree and got them all cups with lids and straw that they got to keep too!
