We set up this 20′ x 30′ frame tent on the 3rd-floor terrace of the State Historical Building in Des Moines, Iowa, that overlooks the Iowa State Capitol. This was for our customer, NBC Universal News Group, for the 2024 reporting.

This tent had café string lights / Edison light bulbs (string lights), sidewalls, and two 1700,00 BTU propane tent heaters.

For NBC Universal News Group, a 20' x 30' frame tent was set up on the 3rd-floor terrace of the State Historical Building in Des Moines, IA.

We set up a 60′ x 66′ (18m x 20m) Losberger Clearspan temporary structure with LED high-bay lights and a 20′ x 20′ frame tent for a corporate event at the Ajinomoto manufacturing plant in Eddyville, Iowa. We also set up a small stage, banquet tables, chairs, and a hand sanitizer station.

Job Description:

Immediate openings for Permanent Full Time and “Summer” Full-Time employment.

Deliver and set-up tents, tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, bleachers, and almost anything you can think of that is rentable and certainly some things you hadn’t thought of! Load and unload trucks, maintain a clean warehouse. We operate seven days a week. Fast paced. Expect overtime during the busy Summer months. We travel a 200 mile radius daily, occasional overnights with paid per diem. If you enjoy ever-changing jobs, occasional travel, and working outdoors, you won’t be bored here. Work may be indoors and/or outdoors, sometimes under adverse weather conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$16 to start. MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE WITH VERY GOOD MVR RECORD (must provide a driving record http://www.iowadot.gov/mvd/ods/driverrecord.htm).
Qualifications:

Must be 21 Years old.
Must have Drivers license with good MVR (must provide a driving record).
Experience with towing and hooking up trailers a plus.
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally.
Reliable transportation required.
Forklift experience helpful, but not required.
Additional pay for Class A or Class B CDL licensed driver.
Benefits available after 90 days of employment:
