Oooh the love. I just can’t get over my sweet couples and the joy I get to document for them. Being a wedding photographer is amazing enough, but continuing to photograph the milestones?! Doesn’t get better than this. 🤍♥️ (I LOVE my job!)

Hi! Fun fact about me: I’m typically never awake before 7am unless I have to be (I’m a night owl and I like to read at night), but for some reason I woke up at 6:30am today and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with myself before my daughter wakes up… So, some reading and an early IG post, it is. 🙌

I’m Carley and I’ve been a wedding photographer for over 10 years. I adore preserving all the unique once-in-a-lifetime moments of wedding days and giving them to my couples to cherish forever. The scenery, their private vows, the change to the “after” dress, the design elements by the bride, the perfect cake… All these special things made Z+K’s day amazing, but their smiles and the love shining through their photos is always the best part. I may be a bit sappy, but can you blame me?! 😍

M+C eloped yesterday - the 21st day of September - and what a beauty it was! Each part of their day was carefully thought out and planned based on what was important to the two of them: Private vows with a view of the Narrows and photos with their pups, an intimate ceremony with just 8 guests at the Rose Garden at Point Defiance, photos in the forest at Point Defiance Park, and a dinner to celebrate their union! So fun to be part of and I can’t WAIT to share more very soon. 🤍

While K+K’s guest list was on the larger side, it was evident in speaking with them that taking care of and celebrating with their loved ones was their highest priority on their wedding day. They took special consideration to provide moments of beauty and intimacy for everyone such as a “moment to meet to someone new” during their ceremony, a large group photo at the end of their ceremony, and a “fancy garden party” on the property’s central lawn with shared banquet tables and toasts under glowing lights. After dinner, they moved inside for dancing, a live band, and soft pretzels for anyone wanting a late-night snack! So honored to have been part of this day and happy to share the beauty of it with you all. Cheers, K+K!

C+J met like many couples - at work! During the pandemic, they lived on opposite sides of and it became their go-to meet up location. They’ve tried most of the food, have tons of stories of playing cribbage at various market restaurants and bars, and can tell you the best places for photos, since we did their engagement photos there! C+company got ready at followed by their first look on the rooftop and their ceremony+reception on the . Seattle weather showed off for us - there were sunny skies, happy tears, ice cream, so much laughter and all the love. Cheers to a beautiful start to your forever, C+J! ♥️

Hola, I’m Carley! I’m here on this lovely Monday to say “hello” and let you know I’m the gal behind carleyjayne photography. If you’ve been here awhile, you likely know this, but if you’re new, thank you for following me! (Slides 2 and 3 are of my little family - Daniel and I will have been 10 years in November and our daughter recently turned 4!) Happiest 1 Year Anniversary to these two… Aka “mom+dad”, as they welcomed a sweet baby girl earlier this year! I love that she’ll have these photos to look back on and see how beautiful and happy her parents were on their wedding day! 😍

M+M came to play and so did the sunshine!☀️🌸 It was supposed to be overcast, but the PNW did not disappoint and we spent their engagement session chasing the sunlight and finding the blooms at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. I cannot get enough of their genuine love and sweet smiles and am so looking forward to their wedding in 2025! ♥️

We lucked out with amazing weather for M+A’s elegant wedding at ! Rather than doing a first look, they opted for a ceremony reveal, which has a bit more drama at the ceremony space at Rock Creek Gardens because of the gorgeous long aisle! M’s smile got bigger and bigger as she took in the view of all their guests and approached her soon-to-be husband. It was all pure perfection! 😍
