Each table menu has an embossed flower pulled from the charger design. While this is a pretty detail, she’s there for more than just her looks. Wind is the number 1 enemy of our day of paper products, and these flowers and ties act like wind anchors.

Diana and Zach’s Chinese Tea Ceremony was such a beautiful part of their day. A Chinese tea ceremony is a wedding tradition where the couple serves tea to their elders to symbolize respect and gratitude. It’s a way to acknowledge the couple’s new family and to integrate them into the family. Learning how different cultures celebrate marriage is one of my favorite aspects of our work.

“Miles and Annalise met in DC when they matched on Hinge in February 2018. Miles was insistent on going to dinner for their first date, despite Annalise’s attempts to just meet over a casual drink. After that dinner, and one more date, they saw each other more days than not. They filled their time with Caps and Nats games, going to concerts, trying new restaurants, spending lots of time with friends and eventually, their black lab, Lola.

After more than 5.5 years together, Miles had moved back to Charleston, where he grew up and Annalise was still in DC. With the help of her best friend, Miles surprised Annalise at one of their favorite spots in DC, Churchkey, where they went on their second date. After a beer together, they walked around the corner to the spot where Miles and Annalise had their first kiss years ago and Miles asked Annalise to marry him.

This weekend they say I Do in Charleston, which they now call home, one week before their 7th anniversary.” Follow along for all the fun at Society Hall today!

In honor of Presidents’ Day, I present to you the wedding with the most presidents on the dance floor I have ever seen. Just in case you’re never been to a huge Greek wedding, lots of cash is flying through the air. When the dance was over, we had to get brooms and dust pans to collect it all, and the band gets to keep it!

It’s always so interesting hearing the toasts about our couples after getting to know them through the planning process. Your sisters/grandfathers/fraternity brother have made me laugh and cry more times than I can count. I’ve heard things that I could never post on a social platform. (I heard those things while your grandma and your parents neighbors were listening; can’t stress enough how important sobriety is for some people to speak publicly). When I think about all my couples, I think the toasts are what I think back on most often. I even quote them in my every day life, my most favorite learned quote being “Every pot has a lid.” Happy almost Valentine’s Day everyone ❤️

One of my favorite flower facts I’ve learned is how beautiful expressed tulips are! The peachy flower on the bottom is a tulip that has been expressed, when the petals are pushed outwards.
