Watercolor has brought me joy for years. There’s something calming about the way the paint moves across the paper, turning simple moments into something timeless. Over the years, I’ve taught classes and created meaningful pieces, but one of my favorite things to paint is bridal bouquets.

Each bouquet holds so much meaning—the colors, textures, and design reflect the care and thought that went into a bride’s special day. Capturing those details in watercolor is a way to preserve that moment forever, turning something fleeting into a keepsake.

It’s an honor to create these pieces for brides, knowing they’ll have a tangible reminder of such a beautiful day to treasure for years to come.

When it comes to setting the tone for your wedding day, one of the most impactful choices you’ll make is your color palette. The colors set the tone, influence the vibe, and tie every detail together. For this wedding, the palette was absolutely stunning—moody, rich, and full of depth—it fit the venue and the overall feel of the day so perfectly.

The darker tones paired beautifully with the warm wood accents and brick details of the space, creating an atmosphere that was both bold and elegant. It was a true reflection of the couple’s vision and the venue’s natural charm.

When choosing your color palette, it’s so important to consider your venue. Are there architectural details, natural surroundings, or other unique features you want to enhance? A well-thought-out palette should feel like it belongs—elevating the space rather than competing with it.

This day was a beautiful reminder of how powerful intentionality can be when planning. Every color, detail, and design choice worked in harmony to create something truly unforgettable!
