Still plugging away, rooting through older images. Just doing some slight enhancements and adjustments. Mostly adjusting things that due to limitations in the software, or my knowledge of it, I could not adjust before.

Title: Summer Overload

No shooting for me this week, between my day job and the poopy overcast skies, just not feeling it. However, did spend some time organizing/adjusting some of the older images, and got to thinking about summer photo outings. Can't wait, especially since it seems spring is getting a slow start around here. This one I aptly named Summer Overload, and it was taken out at the Matthiessen State Park in Utica Illinois a few years ago.

Title: The Devils Curves

Made a return trip up to the Devils River this weekend. As artists we often will return time and time again to a specific location until we feel that we finally have the right image. This one brought me a step closer to that final vision. Was hoping for the foliage to be a little further along than it is, but I found a better vantage point and increased to a full 30 second exposure to get the serpentine flow in the water. Might make another trip in a couple weeks to have more autumn color. Although I am still quite happy with this image.
