My photography word for 2025 is going to be nostalgia: a feeling of longing or affection for a time in the past, often triggered by memories that are associated with happiness. I really want to lean into this for ALL sessions. Everyone has something nostalgic… an object, a game!, something special that belonged to someone they loved.
Let me help you bring that out in your session! If you have booked with me, let’s brainstorm and come up with something meaningful to you. I want your photos to be heirloom pieces that someday might be your future family’s nostalgia❤️

All the feels as we look back at exactly 1 year ago, we left on our Grand Adventure. Taking the kids out of school and seeing the world. That first month was spend exploring the west side of the United States. Heading up to Seattle, working down to Joshua Tree, and coming back to Nebraska. So many memories were made in that 1st month that our family will never forget. I treasure those moments sooo much and wish we could do it all over again!
