Nikki Morgan is a SC based natural light photographer specializing in Wedding and Bo***ir photography! Besides being a photographer, she is a wife to a supportive husband, Greg, and mommy to two boys- Tripp and Phillip. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Arts and Sciences. She received her first DSLR camera as a Christmas gift before Tripp was bo

rn, so she could take nice pictures of him. She started snapping pictures of him the day he was born, and she hasn't stopped. It didn't take her long to realize that photography was more than a hobby; it was a passion. Since then, she has photographed Maternity sessions, Newborn sessions, Family sessions, Bo***ir sessions, Events, Engagement sessions, and Weddings. In 2016 she decided to concentrate fully on weddings and bo***ir photography. She strives to make sure all of her clients are happy during their time together, as well as with the final project. Did you know that the tradition of bridal portraits dates back centuries? Rooted in European aristocracy, these sessions began as formal paintings, often created months before the wedding to showcase a bride’s elegance and wealth. It wasn’t until the early 20th century that photography became part of the tradition, allowing brides from all backgrounds to capture this special moment affordably.

Today, bridal portraits have become a beautiful, timeless way to celebrate a bride’s unique style and personality, showcasing not only the dress and details but also the anticipation and joy in her eyes. It’s a chance to pause, appreciate, and document the journey leading up to “I do.” 💍

It’s Fri-yay!! Which really only means that we’re gearing up for another weekend of weddings! I love a good sunset photo (or two) and the sky showed out this day. The weather was beautiful all day long and the sunset was even better!

It’s funny how life works out. I was shooting a session out at Cedar Ridge Tree Farm back in 2021, and I noticed this young couple all dressed up for prom. I saw that they were using their phones to snap some pics, so I offered to take their photo while I waited on my clients to arrive. I didn’t know it at the time, but their photographer had bailed on them. 😕

Fast forward to today, and they are officially part of the NMP family as wedding clients. When Adelyn and I jumped on our consultation call, she said “you probably don’t remember this, but you took our prom photo.” As soon as she said that, I knew exactly who she was. I was speechless and amazed that the universe had brought us back together.

I am a firm believer in everything happens for a reason, and that is proven here! I am over the moon excited to shoot Adelyn and her high sweetheart’s wedding at the beautiful
