Why face painting matters

Face Painting. It’s temporary, even a waste of money, some might say. But face painting is a chance to wear an artist’s work for the day. Face painting brings joy not only to the person who wears the paint, but the person who did the work and the people around who get to see the work on the faces! Yes, face paint is temporary, but isn’t that the way of most joyful things? We believe that life is about building moments of happiness and creating memories of those moments. That’s why face painting matters.

There is nothing better than having a child sit in the chair and have their own experience of being painted. From the decision of what to have painted, to the colors, and the glitter (or not), whether to have just a cheek painted or the whole face, each child gets that time for themselves. It is no different than a rollercoaster ride or eating cotton candy. It’s all about seeing the smile on their face when they see the painting in the mirror and they say “I love it!” and hop off of the chair.

A happy kid. Is there anything better than seeing a smile on your kid’s face? That’s money well spent, we believe. And there’s a kid in all of us! We LOVE painting adults, too!

We use only FDA compliant and tested face paints that are water based and washable from the skin with soap and water. The brushes we use are cleaned in a three part system between each child using cleanser and solution to keep the brushes hygenic.
