Naveen, We just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work Saturday night - you were absolutely amazing. Everyone had a phenomenal time and we can't even begin to count the number of people who said that it was the most fun dance floor they had ever been a part of. We are so happy we chose you to be there for our wedding - you were an absolute professional and friendly from start to finish and were incredibly patient with us (especially when we took our time picking out our variety of songs for the evening). I've never seen a dance floor so packed for so long at a wedding - you were great at getting people involved and keeping the party going. Things to consider when looking for the Perfect venue for your reception.

Choosing a venue that will fit your needs and fulfill your vision can be a very challenging task. There are lots of things to throw into the mix here, whether it be will it hold your guests, are the acoustics ok for the music you want, and is the property being properly kept up?

Keep these questions in mind as you search for your venue.

1. How far is it from your ceremony site?
2. Does your venue have time restrictions?
3. How early can your vendors of choice set up?
4. When do you have to close your reception down?
5. How close is the venue from your guests home or the hotel?
6. How many guests can comfortable fit in the venue?
7. Is there enough parking for your guests?
8. Is there enough electricity for your vendors to properly do their jobs?
9. is there a history of radio interference with wireless microphones in the area
10. If you are having your reception outdoors, do you have a back up plan for bad weather?
11. If your reception is indoors, is there heat or air conditioning to keep the venue comfortable?
12. What options do you have for controlling the lighting of the venue?
13. Can your entertainer be set up next to the dance floor?
14. Does the room layout allow for a centrally located dance area?
15. If your having a buffet line, do they have plans to increase the number of buffet lines to accommodate your guest count?
16. Does the location have an on site coordinator, and do they work with your other vendors, if you are forced to use them?
17. Does the location have a preferred vendors list? What is their policy regarding using this vendors and can you use a vendor of your choice there?
18. Will there be multiple events at your location, or will yours be the only one that day?

Must be able to work weekends and long nights.
Must have own transportation.
May require traveling out of state at times.
Food will be provided on most occasions as well as hotels if the event requires over night stays.

The term “reasonably priced” is like nails on a chalk board to me. 😑 I see it all the time.
I understand the intention; meaning fair priced, but as vendors we don’t know what that means or how that translates for someone financially.

An individual’s reasonable is not someone else’s reasonable… and that’s ok! ✅

Priorities vary tremendously… that’s ok! ✅

Budgets vary greatly… also ok! ✅

A better way to find compatible companies and services within a “reasonable budget” is to say what that budget is. That’s THE reasonable price.

Defining what “reasonable” is lets service providers evaluate if they can meet that definition of “reasonable.” Transparency saves everyone a lot of time by setting expectations up front and making sure customers and the right businesses are connecting in beneficial ways or at least able to start helpful conversations. 🙂
