I grew up taking pictures, and my style has changed over time, just as I have. I value individualism and strive to portray each person's unique qualities in all of my images. I want to give everyone the right to be who they are, and show that in my pictures. Most importantly, I want everyone to feel comfortable and have fun having their picture taken!

You may have witnessed first or second-hand that couples planning to get married in 2020 had to… adjust. Maggie and Ryan were no different, they rolled with the all punches. When their final wedding date was set (after two rescheduled dates) for December and Maggie told me she had not planned on a winter wedding, I was a little nervous. But I was pleasantly surprised to see everyone embrace the winter theme - Ryan’s plaid jacket, plaid shawls, plaid invitations, a sweater cake! Everything was beautiful!

I haven’t known Ryan for as long as I’ve known Maggie (see yesterday’s post). I first met him at my own wedding reception in May of 2019, and I saw that night that he was a great guy. I got to know him a little better at their engagement session that fall, and I caught an even bigger glimpse of his wonderful personality! Not only is he a fantastic human on his own, but I know he and Maggie are perfect together!

P.S. how adorable is this cozy, winter wedding cake by The Flour Pot Cakes?! The sweater texture is amazing, but I especially love the sugar on the middle tier … it reminds me of glistening snow!

Third time WAS the charm for Maggie and Ryan! Engaged in 2019, they were supposed to be married last September. Although they were married in a small ceremony last year, their big celebration had to be pushed off until May, and then once more until this past weekend. But they finally did it! Congratulations you two!
